Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for stimulating local and higher homeostatic autoregulatory mechanisms during the sleep phase and the rest or relaxation phase of the organism by means of a pulsed electromagnetic field. Said apparatus comprises a pulse generator, a control device, and a field generating device. The pulse generator is designed in such a way as to generate a pulsed electromagnetic field along with the control device and the field generating device by applying 5 special series of pulses in which the frequency is the same for all signals, ranging from 8 to 15 Hz, the series of pulses are repeated multiple times, and the control time amounts to at least 3.5 h within a period of 7 to 9 hours.
Abstract:
The apparatus consists of a pulse generator, a control device, and a field generating device which jointly generate a pulsed electromagnetic field, wherein series of pulses that have specific intensities and are applied at specific intervals and at different frequencies influence the pulsation of the field, thus making it possible to cause stimulating effects on homeostatic autoregulatory mechanisms in the organism. The pulsed electromagnetic field of the invention achieves greater changes in characteristics and significantly longer decay times than previously known electromagnetic fields. The long-term effectiveness can thereby be prolonged up to ten fold.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for generating a pulsed electromagnetic field with pulse control, wherein the pulses provided by the pulse generator represent periodic pulses having ascending and descending envelope curves with harmonic or anharmonic oscillation profile within the envelope curves, the pulse sequence is in the range of from 1 pulse/20 minutes to 10 pulses/minute, with pulse sequence, pulse function type and electromagnetic flux density being controlled via values which, obtained using non-invasive measuring methods on a target tissue, represent features of the blood microcirculation, with exponential functions as pulse function type being excluded. Greater and longer-lasting improvements of the microcirculation are achieved.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the treatment of plants using electromagnetic fields and consists in applying pulse sequences to growing plants or the seeds thereof in a pulsed electromagnetic field by means of a pulse generator, wherein the individual pulses have a frequency ranging from 1 to 100 Hz and the amplitude of each individual pulse corresponds to an exponential function or the pulses have envelope curves rising and falling in the form of an arc, wherein the individual pulses are emitted in synchronous or asynchronous groups of pulses having different magnetic flux densities, and wherein the plants are exposed to the pulsating electromagnetic field once to 30 times a day for 1 to 120 minutes each time or continuously for several days. Plant growth, germination and yields are significantly increased in an environmentally friendly manner. Resistance to diseases is increased.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for modulating perfusion in the microcirculation of the blood. The apparatus consists of a first device for generating a pulsed electromagnetic field having a synchronous or asynchronous specific pulse sequence of a periodic electromagnetic field, including a first group of pulses with a pulse time of 0.1 to 0.2 seconds at 35 to 100 μT and a second group of pulses of 10 to 30 seconds at 2 to 40 μT, a second device for circulating the lymph flow, said second device being used to trigger massaging pulses at increasing and decreasing pressures via several massaging arrangements arranged next to each other, and a third device for emitting infrared radiation, said third device emitting at least one heat pulse, as well as a control unit by means of which the pulses of the three devices are controlled such that two or three devices simultaneously emit pulses. Significant improvements of individual parameters of the microcirculation and also the macrocirculation of the blood are achieved with the apparatus.

Abstract:
An arrangement and a method for automatically controlling the volume in an audio signal reproduction device. A digital signal processing circuit, which is arranged in the audio signal path for influencing the audio signal anyway, is used to reduce the reproduction volume in the event of an overdrive condition of the power amplifier. The overdrive condition is indicated by an overdrive signal attained by the power amplifier. In the process, the decrease and increase in the volume is carried out using various time constants, and disturbing control oscillations are neutralized by inserting a counter which must be decremented prior to a raising of the volume.
