    摘要: For detecting within a communication range of an antenna a contactless data storage device which is configured for inductive coupling with an electromagnetic field emitted by the antenna, a return signal is detected (S1) at the antenna during emission of an electromagnetic field pulse. During amplitude build-up of carrier oscillation at the beginning of the electromagnetic field pulse, an evaluation signal is generated (S2) based on the return signal, and the data storage device is detected (S3) based on the evaluation signal. By detecting the presence of the data storage device based on an evaluation signal generated during amplitude build-up, the detection of the data storage device can be initiated before carrier oscillation of the electromagnetic field pulse is stable. Consequently, the width of the electromagnetic field pulse can be shortened and, therefore, energy consumption for detecting the presence of the data storage device can be reduced.

    摘要: For detecting within a communication range of an antenna a contactless data storage device which is configured for inductive coupling with an electromagnetic field emitted by the antenna, a return signal is detected (S1) at the antenna during emission of an electromagnetic field pulse. During amplitude build-up of carrier oscillation at the beginning of the electromagnetic field pulse, an evaluation signal is generated (S2) based on the return signal, and the data storage device is detected (S3) based on the evaluation signal. By detecting the presence of the data storage device based on an evaluation signal generated during amplitude build-up, the detection of the data storage device can be initiated before carrier oscillation of the electromagnetic field pulse is stable. Consequently, the width of the electromagnetic field pulse can be shortened and, therefore, energy consumption for detecting the presence of the data storage device can be reduced.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for recognizing identification media in the communication area of a write/read device functioning according to the principle of inductive coupling in the MHz range, wherein an antenna is used for transmitting and receiving HF signals, in addition to a circuit for transmitting HF signals with a standard transmitter power output and a logic circuit for evaluating communication between a write/read device and an identification medium. A short inquiry signal consisting of several fundamental components of the HF field and having a standard transmission power output is periodically transmitted via a transmission path and the antenna and a response signal is detected on the antenna. The response signal is compared to a reference signal and a communication signal is transmitted in order to recognize an identification medium in the event that the response signal is different from the reference signal. This enables energy-saving, reliable recognition of identification media occurring in the field of communications for subsequent communication with the write/read device, particularly with respect to battery-operated write/read devices.

    摘要: The coiling apparatus for flexible planar articles (44), in particular printed products such as newspapers, magazines and parts thereof comprises a winding core (16), which is rotatably journalled in a frame (12) and drivable by a drive shaft (28), and a coiling band (24) which directs the flexible planar articles (44) essentially tangentially to the coiling core and is wound up onto the coiling core together with the planar articles. A drive train comprising a driving disc (38), a drive belt (40) and a drive belt disc (42) makes it possible to rotate the shaft (14) on which the winding core (16) is rotatably mounted from the same motor as drives the band reel (26). Between the winding core (16) and the rotary shaft (14) there is located a spiral spring (18) which is secured at its one end (20) to the winding core and at its other end (22) to the rotary shaft (14). The arrangement is so devised that the end (22) of the spring (18) can be moved relative to the spring end (20) in order to change the state of tension of the spring. The apparatus makes it possible in this manner to adapt the torque exerted onto the coiling core to the increasing coil diameter during winding up of the coiling band (24) with the planar articles (44). A regulating system is not necessary.

The ring-jet sensor (24) is also coupled to a pressure sensor (37), the signal of which passes to a counter (40). In order to avoid connecting two lines to the ring-jet sensor (24), the said ring-jet sensor and also the pressure sensor (37), are each connected, in parallel, to one branch line (23, 35). The branch lines (23, 35) can carry either compressed air or suction air.
