摘要: The disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for predicting presence of one or more neurological deficits. The system may include a microphone, a camera, one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to extract audio information including a period density entropy coefficient and a mel frequency cepstral coefficient from an audio feed received from the microphone. Additionally, the instructions may cause the processor to determine position and depth information of eye movement from a video feed received from the camera and detect features of interest including facial landmarks, spatial orientation of limbs, and positional information of limb movements from the video feed. The one or more processors may further extract the features of interest from the video feed and process the extracted features of interest by aligning the extracted features of interest to a common reference.

The power information is associated with power generated by a solar collector, and the first signal characteristic is substantially orthogonal to a corresponding signal characteristic of at least one noise source associated with the signal line. In some aspects, a solar tracking error associated with the solar collector is determined based on the acquired power information, a servo feedback signal is determined based on the acquired power information, and determination of the solar tracking error includes determination of the solar tracking error based on the servo feedback signal.

摘要: Thermally tunable optical dispersion compensation (ODC) devices are disclosed. In one aspect, an ODC device may include multiple Gires-Tournois (G-T) etalons. The etalons may be optically coupled together. The etalons may compensate for optical dispersion by collectively delaying light. At least one of the G-T etalons may have a temperature dependent partial reflector. The ODC device may also include at least one thermal device to change the temperature of the G-T etalon having the temperature dependent partial reflector. Methods of making and using the ODC devices are also disclosed, as well as various systems including the ODC devices.

摘要: A quasi-monochromatic light beam carrier for a particular telecommunication channel is likely to experience drift because of age, temperature, or other factors, and may cause the centroid wavelength of the carrier to shift. Temperature adjustments by wavelength lockers to compensate for drift on one channel may affect the performance of other channels. Embodiments of the present invention couple a quasi-monochromatic light beam through a substrate-based grating, diffract the light beam from the edge of the substrate to free space, and detect the light beam from free space at a position detector to determine the centroid wavelength based on a position of the light beam incident on the detector. The diffracted light beam may be reflected within the substrate a number of times prior to exiting the substrate towards the detector.

Both comprise a wheel mounting assembly, a leg assembly rotatably connected to the wheel mounting assembly, one or more wheels rotatably connected to the wheel mounting assembly, a collapsible container connected to the wheel mounting and leg assemblies, and at least one support member rotatably connected to both the wheel mounting and leg assemblies and serving to maintain the wheelbarrow in an erected position. The handle members have a pair of handles and a kicker, the kicker has a pair of interconnected longitudinally-extending portions that are each rotatably connected to an associated rear handle segment thereby enabling the handle members to rotate between erected and folded position.
