This second relief valve is acted upon by the pressure immediately upstream of the compressor in the induction manifold, and opens an additional relief path as soon as this pressure exceeds a pro-determined level when the compressor is shut down. The two relief valves and the pressure keeper valve can be incorporated into a common housing.
