    摘要: A method of controlling the air output of a screw compressor, wherein the average air output of the compressor during operation is adapted to air consumption by throttling the flow of suction air or by connecting the compressor alternately to full air output capacity and idle operation capacity. In order to reduce the power consumption of the compressor, the air output is controlled first by throttling the flow of suction air and by simultaneously measuring underpressure in the suction conduit of the compressor. Thereafter the compressor is controlled so as to operate alternately at full air output capacity and idle operation capacity, and the pressure rise rate in the air-pressure network is measured when the compressor operates at full output capacity and the pressure fall rate is measured when the compressor operates at idle operation capacity. The air consumption and the power consumption of the compressor with both ways of control at this particular air consumption level are calculated on the basis of the values so measured. Thereafter the compressor is connected to apply the control with the smaller power consumption.

    摘要: A vane compressor comprising a rotor eccentrically arranged in a cylindrical housing and vanes, which define a space between the periphery of the rotor and the inner surface of the housing. The volume of the space varies during the rotation of the rotor due to the eccentricity of the rotor. The rotor (14) comprises inlet valves (19, 23) arranged between the inlet (12) of the compressor and the space (46) in order to open when the pressure in the space (46) is below the pressure at the inlet (12) in order to suck in air inside the space (46) during the intake stroke of the rotor. Moreover, the rotor comprises outlet valves (20, 24) arranged between the space and the outlet (48) of the compressor and adapted to open when the pressure in the space (46) exceeds the counter-pressure at the outlet (48) during the compression stroke. The inlet valves and the outlet valves are interconnected by a hydraulic system in such a way that the inlet valve (19, 23) at one side of the rotor is opened at the same time as the outlet valve (20, 24) is opened at the diametrically opposite side of the rotor.

    摘要: In an adjustable vane-type pump, there is provided an idle stroke adjusting device for variation of the pre-compression. The device comprises a laterally arranged adjustable supporting element having a substantially planar supporting surface bearing against the curved supporting surface area of the cam ring. The plane of the supporting surface of the supporting element is inclined relative to the plane which is defined by the joint axis of the delivery-limiting device and the pressure-control device as well as by the rotor axis. The curved supporting surface area of the cam ring is formed by the cylindrical peripheral surface of the cam ring. By using this extremely straightforward idle stroke adjusting device, wherein the idle stroke adjustment changes in response to the output pressure and the flow rate, respectively, a more favorable noise emission over the entire operating range of the pump is accomplished.

    摘要: A method of regulating the output quantity of compressed medium of single and multi-stage screw and turbo compressor systems, comprises, throttling the suction to the compressor systems with a throttling valve by fluid-pressure operation of the valve, sensing the pressure of the discharge of the compressor systems, closing the throttle valve in accordance with the pressure which is sensed and bleeding the medium after it is passed through the compressors and in a proportion to the pressure which is sensed and only after the throttling valve is moved through a proportional closing movement. The device for operating the compressor systems for regulating the quantity of medium includes a throttle valve in the suction having a valve member movable between opened and closed positions and with a control piston connected to the throttle valve to shift the valve member. A bleed valve has a passage connected to the discharge at one end and to the atmosphere at its opposite end, with valve seats in the passage closable by valve means which are connected to the control piston and movable in the passage toward and away from the valve seat means for opening and closing the passage. The valve and the valve seat means provide a lost motion connection to the control piston so that the control piston is movable to move the valve means in an opening direction to open the passage only after the throttle is moved in a closing direction to take up the lost motion connection.
