摘要： A futon with a tilt mechanism to enable a user to transfer the futon from a bed position to a couch position or vice a versa, with the mechanism including a back pad support member including rollers for engaging guide slots to permit lateral displacement of the pad support member with respect to a frame, with the back pad support member including a pair of lever arms with the back pad support member pivotally attached to a seat pad support member, with the seat pad support members having a pair of legs pivotally mounted thereto, with the legs pivotal between a first position for supporting a free end of the seat pad support member as a bed and a second position for engaging the lever arms on the back pad support members to enable a user to use the seat pad support member as a lever to raise the back side pad support member from a horizontal position to a generally vertical position and thereby convert the futon from a bed to a couch while simultaneously storing the pivotable legs in an out-of-the-way condition.

摘要： Articulated handlebars for bicycles, motorcycles and the like, which have conventional support means thereon for handlebars, comprising elongated, substantially horizontal attaching means with a clamp or a pair thereof for removably fixing the attaching means to the support means; at least one supporting means, mostly vertical, at an angle to the attaching means; one or a pair of handle shaft means associated with the supporting means, for carrying at its or their outer end(s) one or a pair of handles; and respective securing means for attaching the supporting means to selected portions of the attaching means, and the handle shaft means to selected portions of the supporting means, respectively; whereby any spatial, height, length and angular attitude can be set for the handle(s), as required by the operator of the bicycle, motorcycle and the like. Various exemplary embodiments and structural solutions are disclosed.

摘要： A throttle and brake control apparatus is provided which enables an operator to control both the brake system and the throttle system of a vehicle by selectively rotating a single control member in a first and a second direction. The apparatus, according to the present invention, can be mounted on the handlebar of a motorcycle or a similar vehicle and replaces a conventional brake control system and a conventional throttle control system. The apparatus eliminates the need for conventional brake control levers.

摘要： The futon includes a back deck guided for movement between horizontal and forwardly-inclined positions by rollers engaging in slots of the side frames of the futon. The seat deck is pivotally secured to the forward end of side extensions of the back deck by inter-engaging slots and pins. To convert from a bed position, the seat deck is initially pulled forwardly to locate the rollers in positions in the guide slots for movement of the back deck from the horizontal position to the inclined position. By pivoting the seat deck upwardly and permitting it to slide downwardly relative to the pins, the seat deck is positioned to leverage the back deck into the inclined position upon pivoting the seat deck back towards its horizontal position. The back deck is thus inclined and locked in the inclined position by the engagement of the rollers in extreme ends of guide slots. The seat deck rests on a futon cross piece and is supported along its rear edge by the slot and pin connection with the back deck.
