    摘要: A method for adjusting a second hearing device in dependence of a first hearing device is proposed. Therein, the first hearing device has been, by means of a first fitting system, individually adjusted to needs and preferences of a specific hearing device user. The method comprises the steps of a1) providing data (165) related to the first hearing device; a2) providing data (155) related to the first fitting system; d1′) adjusting the second hearing device in dependence of the data (165) related to said first hearing device and of the data (155) related to said first fitting system. The corresponding apparatus is disclosed, too. A fitting can be transferred from the first hearing device to the second hearing device.

    摘要: The invention facilitates individual selection and even field replacement of individual component-carrying contacts in a multicontact electrical connector. On a modular circuit-by-circuit basis, each circuit can be individually guarded against overvoltages, undesired frequencies, etc.; and in event of damage to a protection component, the protection can be easily renewed for any individual circuit in just a few minutes. An overvoltage-bypassing diode or other electrical component is positioned within a central cavity that extends axially within the body of a cylindrical contact--i.e., either a male pin or female receptacle. The component is oriented axially in the cavity. Because the bypassing component is physically protected within the cavity, it is much less vulnerable to physical and electrical damage in installation and service than in prior component-carrying contacts. One lead of the component connects electrically to the contact itself internally; another lead passes through an aperture in the contact and connects electrically with a grounding surface that is part of the outside of the contact. An electrical signal path is formed along the contact body, continuing in an interconnection structure.

    摘要: A thermal barrier coating for an underlying metal substrate of articles that operate at, or are exposed to, high temperatures, as well as being exposed to environmental contaminant compositions. This coating comprises an optional inner layer nearest to the underlying metal substrate comprising a non-alumina ceramic thermal barrier coating material in an amount up to 100%, and an outer layer having an exposed surface and comprising at least about 50% of a non-alumina ceramic thermal barrier coating material and alumina in an amount up to about 50% and sufficient to protect the thermal barrier coating at least partially against environmental contaminants that become deposited on the exposed surface. This coating can be used to provide a thermally protected article having a metal substrate and optionally a bond coat layer adjacent to and overlaying the metal substrate. The thermal barrier coating can be prepared by optionally forming the inner layer of the non-alumina ceramic thermal barrier coating material, and then codepositing the alumina and non-alumina ceramic thermal barrier coating material to form the outer layer.

    摘要: To insure proper alignment of a plug and receptacle connector so that only a correct plug and receptacle are being mated, a set of similarly coded keyways and keys on the connector parts require respective alignment before mating is possible. More particularly, the coupling ring and enclosed plug shell both have a set of keyways (optionally, keys) which must be respectively aligned before the receptacle can be received within the plug shell. A spring biased pawl within a slotted cavity in the coupling ring has parts which upon correct orientation of the ring and plug extend into a recess in the plug shell effectively locking the two together and preventing inadvertent rotation of the coupling ring with respect to the plug shell when the connector parts are unmated. In this way the keyways on the inner surfaces of the coupling ring and plug shell are maintained in properly aligned relation so that they may receive the receptacle. On initial mating of a receptacle within a coupling ring, the receptacle cams the pawl outwardly of the opening in the plug shell thereby now permitting rotation of the coupling ring with respect of the plug shell to complete connector engagement.

This sleeve is spring-loaded and positioned between the coupling ring and the plug outer surface. Internal and external keys incorporated within the sleeve prevent inadvertent rotation of the coupling ring until the receptacle has made entry into the plug sufficiently to key both the coupling ring and plug shell.
