摘要： Carbon nanotubes are incorporated in the fiber structure by growing them on the refractory fibers of the substrate so as to obtain a three-dimensional substrate made of refractory fibers and enriched in carbon nanotubes. The substrate is densified with a matrix to form a part of composite material such as a friction part of C/C composite material.

摘要： The method comprises the steps of: impregnating the part with a liquid impregnation composition containing at least a phosphate type compound, at least via a fraction of the outside surface of the part; applying a coating composition on said fraction of the outside surface of the part, the coating composition comprising a colloidal suspension of at least one refractory oxide in water, at least one compound essentially of the borosilicate type in powder form and having healing properties, and at least one metallic boride in powder form; and applying heat treatment after applying the coating composition.

摘要： A gas diffusion electrode comprises a cloth (12) of activated carbon fibers having a first face coated in a hydrophobic material (14) and a second face on which particles of catalyst (16) are fixed directly and are dispersed in substantially uniform manner over the fibers. The electrode can be used in an electrochemical cell of a proton exchange membrane fuel-cell battery, or in an electrochemical reactor, e.g. for making chlorine and caustic soda.
