Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications that support inter-user equipment (UE) coordination (IUC) for beamformed communications are described. A first UE may receive, using a first spatial filter, a first sidelink control message including a first sidelink resource reservation associated with a second UE. Additionally, or alternatively, the first UE may receive, using a second spatial filter, a second sidelink control message including a second sidelink resource reservation associated with a third UE. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE or the third UE, an IUC message that indicates a conflict between the first sidelink resource reservation and the second sidelink resource reservation. The IUC message that indicates a conflict may be based on a relationship between the first spatial filter used to receive the first sidelink resource reservation and the second spatial filter used to receive the second sidelink resource reservation.

A base station receives an uplink beam failure report from the UE and determines that a reported beam is a default uplink beam for the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node (e.g., a vehicle mounted integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node) may aid in wireless communication between one or more wireless devices operating in a high-speed environment (e.g., on a high-speed train (HST)) and one or more network entities. The wireless node may transmit one or more reference signals associated with a Doppler estimation procedure to the one or more network entities. The network entities may use the one or more reference signals to generate a set of Doppler compensation parameters to use while communicating with the wireless node and the one or more wireless devices. In some examples, the wireless node may receive control information or data from the one or more wireless devices, aggregate the information, and transmit the aggregated information to the one or more network entities on behalf of the wireless devices.

Abstract: Monostatic radar with progressive length transmission may be used with half-duplex systems or with full-duplex systems to reduce self-interference. The system transmits a first signal for a first duration and receives a first reflection of the first signal from a first object during a second duration. The system transmits a second signal for a third duration longer than the first duration and receives a second reflection of the second signal from a second object during a fourth duration. The system calculates a position of the first object and the second object based on the first reflection and the second reflection. The first signal, first duration, and second duration are configured to detect reflections from objects within a first distance of the system. The second signal, third duration, and fourth duration are configured to detect reflections from objects between the first distance and a second distance from the system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An energy transmitter device may transmit an energy signal to an energy receiver device for energy harvesting by the energy receiver device. To communicate channel state information (CSI) of a channel between the energy transmitter device and the energy receiver device, the energy transmitter device may transmit a first signal to the energy receiver device. In response, the energy receiver device may transmit a second signal to the energy transmitter device that is indicative of the CSI, where the CSI is based on the first signal. The energy transmitter device may transmit additional signals to the energy receiver device whose transmission characteristics are based on the CSI.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for periodically transmitting a first set of signals (e.g., reference signals) during an on-period of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle rather than during an off-period of the DRX cycle. Such techniques may enable a user equipment (UE) operating in a DRX mode to conserve additional power during the DRX cycle. A periodicity for transmitting the first set of signals during the on-period may be determined. The periodicity may indicate that every one-in-N DRX cycles, the first set of signals are to be transmitted during the on-period. During other DRX cycles, the first set of signals may be transmitted during the off-period. When the first set of signals are transmitted during the on-period, the UE may refrain from activating certain components during the off-period, thereby conserving power.

In one aspect, the wireless device may determine a frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. The wireless device may also transmit an indication of the determined frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. Additionally, the wireless device may determine an absolute frequency based on a combination of measurements from at least one synchronization source and a frequency of the wireless device, where the frequency synchronization accuracy is based on the absolute frequency.
