摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that the UE is to perform radio resource management (RRM) measurements at a first periodicity. The UE may identify an RRM measurement relaxation grouping to which the UE belongs based on at least one of a mobility of the UE or a location of the UE within a cell, such as whether the UE is near a cell-edge, or whether the UE is stationary or moving in accordance with low-mobility, or a combination thereof. The UE may determine a first relaxation parameter from a plurality of relaxation parameters based on measurement relaxation criterion associated with the cell, where the plurality of relaxation parameters may be associated with the RRM measurement relaxation grouping. The UE may perform the RRM measurements at a second periodicity that is based on the first relaxation parameter.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses that support channel state information (CSI) reporting techniques for secondary cell (SCell) activation. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more medium access control-control elements (MAC-CEs) that indicate a secondary cell (SCell) activation command, an aperiodic tracking reference signal (AP-TRS) trigger, and an aperiodic channel state information (AP-CSI) report trigger. The network entity may signal the SCell activation command, the AP-TRS trigger, and the AP-CSI report trigger in the same MAC-CE or in separate MAC-CEs. The UE may receive and measure AP-TRS in accordance with the AP-TRS trigger indicated by the one or more MAC-CEs, and may perform measurements via an aperiodic channel measurement resource (AP-CMR) and an aperiodic interference measurement resource (AP-IMR) in accordance with the AP-CSI report trigger indicated by the one or more MAC-CEs. Accordingly, the UE may transmit an AP-CSI report associated with the measurements.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a primary cell, an indication of a capability to synchronize with a secondary cell based on measurements of the primary cell. A UE may estimate a propagation delay (tp) and an angle of arrival (AoA) of the secondary cell based on a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) transmitted by the primary cell. A UE may perform automatic gain control (AGC), fine timing synchronization, and fine frequency synchronization of the secondary cell based on a temporary aperiodic tracking reference signal (A-TRS) transmitted by the secondary cell. A UE may perform a receive beam sweep on a burst of a CSI-RS transmitted by the secondary cell, wherein a range of the receive beam sweep is based on the estimated AoA.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing a bandwidth of a user equipment (UE). The UE has a narrower bandwidth part (NBWP) that follows a NBWP hopping pattern and allows the UE to hop frequency over time within a larger bandwidth. The UE receives a configuration of one or more NBWP hopping patterns for one or more configured NBWPs, each configured NBWP having a bandwidth less than or equal to a maximum configurable bandwidth of a bandwidth part. The UE determines an active NBWP hopping pattern for an active NBWP of the one or more configured NBWPs. The UE communicates on frequency domain resources for a frequency domain hop indicated by the active NBWP hopping pattern applied to the active NBWP. The UE may receive an indication of whether to switch the active NBWP hopping pattern.

An aerial UE may receive control signaling that indicates a plurality of beam measurement configurations that the aerial UE is to use for beam measurement and reporting associated with a plurality of beams. The aerial UE may monitor a set of beams of the plurality of beams in accordance with a subset of beam measurement configurations of the plurality of beam measurement configurations based on a current time, a current location of the aerial UE, or both, for example. The aerial UE may transmit a measurement report indicating one or more measurements of a subset of beams of the set of beams in accordance with the subset of beam measurement configurations. In some examples, the subset of beam measurement configurations may be associated with an altitude threshold, a three-dimensional zone, or a combination thereof.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive, while the UE is in wireless communications with a first serving cell supported by a base station, an indication to activate or deactivate a second serving cell supported by the base station. The UE may receive a reference signal from the base station via the first serving cell, the reference signal received a duration of time after receipt of the indication, where the duration of time is an interruption period for the wireless communications with the first serving cell. The UE may then resume the wireless communications with the first serving cell based on the interruption period ending at receipt of the reference signal.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for measurement without gaps for narrow bandwidth part (BWP) hopping. A user equipment (UE) may measure one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) while performing BWP hopping according to a hopping pattern. The UE may receive data and measure an SSB in a same frequency hop during a same measurement window without a gap. A base station (BS) may transmit a control message to the UE to configure an active BWP for the UE, a set of measurement windows, a hopping pattern, and a set of SSBs that occur within a set of frequency hops to support the measurement without gaps. The active BWP may be defined for measurement purposes to reduce ambiguity. The control message may support alignment of a measurement window with an active frequency hop to support measurement without gaps.

One or more switching timings of a set of switching timings of the frequency hopping pattern may be aligned with a reference point associated with the measurement gap pattern, which may provide aligned switching gaps in the frequency hopping pattern and the measurement gap pattern.
