摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for spatial reuse in a wireless network. In an example method, a first wireless device detects an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) packet received from a second wireless device in an OBSS, decodes one or more signal fields of the OBSS packet, determines that the OBSS packet is a transmission in which one or more resource unit (RUs) are unallocated, and performs a spatial reuse (SR) transmission to one or more first stations using a number of the unallocated RUs.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for clear channel assessment (CCA) for wireless communications in wireless local area networks (WLANs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) may detect an interfering transmission associated with an overlapping basic service set (OBSS). The AP may further transmit, to at least one station (STA), a probe frame soliciting information indicating an interference environment observed by the at least one STA when an interfering transmission fails to satisfy an interference criterion associated with the AP. The AP may further transmit the probe frame to the at least one STA after a backoff period when the interfering transmission satisfies the interference criterion associated with the AP.

The present disclosure provides a user equipment (UE) or network entity that determines an available RACH occasion (RO) within a slot for a message transmission according to one of a two-step RACH procedure or a four-step RACH procedure, wherein the available RO is adjacent to at least one unavailable RO within the slot. The UE or network entity may further perform, during the RO, the message transmission according to one of the two-step RACH procedure or the four-step RACH procedure.

The process may include communicating a first Channel Switching Announcement (CSA) message from the second access point to at least one client of the second access point, where the least one client is one of a plurality of clients receiving internet connectivity through a series of communication flows including a data flow through the second access point. The process further includes revising a time to switch channel information included in the first channel switch message, where the first CSA message includes the revised time to switch channel information.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for dynamically enabling or disabling spatial reuse (SR) transmissions from wireless communication devices belonging to a first basic service set (BSS). In some instances, a first wireless communication device receives a plurality of intra-BSS packets from a second wireless communication device associated with the first BSS, determines an average power level of the intra-BSS packets at the first wireless communication device, determines a maximum power level of overlapping basic service set (OBSS) packets associated with one or more OBSSs, determines a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of the intra-BSS packets based on the determined average power level of the intra-BSS packets and the determined maximum power level of the OBSS packets, and determines whether to transmit a spatial reuse (SR) packet to the second wireless communication device while detecting OBSS packets on the wireless medium based on the determined SINR relative to a value.
