摘要： Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a modem of a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more parameters that configure the modem to perform a periodic communication to maintain a first connection of the UE; and perform the periodic communication based at least in part on the one or more parameters, wherein the periodic communication is performed on a second connection different than the first connection. In some aspects, an application processor of a UE may establish a connection with a server for a plurality of applications, the server to be configured to communicate with respective application servers for the plurality of applications; configure a modem of the UE to perform a periodic communication to maintain the connection; and provide a push notification, received via the connection and associated with an application of the plurality of applications, to the application.

摘要： Methods and devices for wireless communication are disclosed. For example, one method includes detecting a loss of connectivity between a user equipment and a network, the user equipment having at least a first and second layer of a communication protocol. The method further includes sending messages from the first layer to the second layer, at least one message of the messages being delayed at the second layer based on the loss of connectivity. The method also includes identifying, at the first layer, at least one trigger condition, determining, at the first layer, to abort the sending of a first delayed message to the network based on the identified at least one trigger condition, communicating, by the first layer, to the second layer the determination to abort the first delayed message; and aborting the sending of the first delayed message at the second layer.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a user equipment (UE) to report packet switched voice call capabilities to a base station. The UE may explicitly report voice call capabilities via one or more system-level parameters that are transmitted to the base station. The base station may operate in a first radio access network (RAN), such as a 5G or new radio (NR) RAN. In cases where the UE indicates a capability for packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, one or more voice calls may be established with the UE via the first RAN. In cases where the UE indicates that it is not capable of packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, the UE may fall back to a different RAN (e.g., a 4G or LTE RAN, a 3G RAN, or a 2G RAN) for voice calls.

摘要： Aspects of the disclosure are directed to congestion control in a user equipment in connected mode including upon receipt of a trigger, using a register to determine if a data packet transmission has been initiated by an application associated with the UE, wherein the UE is in a connected mode; retrieving an Application-specific Congestion control for Data Communication (ACDC) category mapped to the application associated with the UE, wherein a mapping between the ACDC category and the application is performed a priori to a transition to the connected mode; retrieving at least one access control parameter based on the ACDC category; and determining if the application is allowed to perform the data packet transmission based on the at least one access control parameter.
