摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding out of order uplink data reception upon data radio bearer (DRB) release or quality of service (QoS) flow addition. An exemplary method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE), includes obtaining an indication that a first data radio bearer (DRB) is released or handed over to a second DRB, wherein a first mapping maps a first quality of service (QoS) flow to the first DRB; obtaining a second mapping that maps the first QoS flow to a second DRB; editing service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) headers of uplink protocol data units (PDUs) in an uplink transmission buffer associated with the first DRB, based on a difference between a first configuration of the first DRB and a second configuration of the second DRB; and transmitting the uplink PDUs via the second DRB.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that the UE is connected to a wireless network on a first carrier frequency in a first frequency range that is associated with a lower data rate than a second carrier frequency in a second frequency range. In some aspects, the first frequency range may be associated with a first version of a radio access technology (RAT) and the second frequency range may be associated with a second version of the RAT. The UE may determine a bandwidth metric associated with the first carrier frequency in the first frequency range. The UE may display a first visual indicator associated with the first version of the RAT or a second visual indicator associated with the second version of the RAT based on the bandwidth metric. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: In a wireless network, a user equipment (UE) may support reflective quality of service (QoS), where QoS applied to uplink packets is implicitly derived from downlink packets. For example, when the UE receives a downlink packet that includes a reflective QoS (RQoS) indicator and a QoS flow identifier (QFI), the UE may apply the same QoS associated with the downlink packet to an uplink packet with one or more attributes that match the downlink packet. However, for a received downlink encapsulating security payload (ESP) packet that includes an RQoS indicator and a QFI, a modem cannot determine an uplink security parameters index (SPI) and downlink SPI pairing needed to enable RQoS because the uplink/downlink SPI pairing is known only by the upper layer. Accordingly, some aspects described herein enable the modem to learn uplink/downlink SPI pairings for ESP packets and thereby enable RQoS for ESP packets.

摘要: A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes: operating in a Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) mode or a Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) mode in which a first subscriber identity module (SIM) is designated as a default data subscription (DDS); determining a recommendation to change the DDS from the first SIM to a second SIM at a modem, informing a user of the recommendation to change the DDS; changing the DDS in response to, at least in part, the recommendation an input from the user; updating a first state variable to indicate a state of the DDS; and routing internet data to the second SIM.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station associated with a first radio access technology (RAT), an indication to add a secondary cell associated with a second RAT in a dual connectivity mode. The UE may receive, by a lower layer of the UE from the secondary cell, an indication that a random access channel (RACH) procedure associated with the secondary cell is successful. The UE may transmit, by an upper layer of the UE to an application of the UE, information to cause an indication of the second RAT to be displayed by the UE based at least in part on a bearer type associated with a link with the secondary cell and the indication that the RACH procedure with the secondary cell is successful. 摘要: Methods and devices for wireless communication are disclosed. For example, one method includes detecting a loss of connectivity between a user equipment and a network, the user equipment having at least a first and second layer of a communication protocol. The method further includes sending messages from the first layer to the second layer, at least one message of the messages being delayed at the second layer based on the loss of connectivity. The method also includes identifying, at the first layer, at least one trigger condition, determining, at the first layer, to abort the sending of a first delayed message to the network based on the identified at least one trigger condition, communicating, by the first layer, to the second layer the determination to abort the first delayed message; and aborting the sending of the first delayed message at the second layer.
