    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing measurement reporting. One aspect is a method for performing measurement reporting at a user equipment, including: receiving, from a master node, a message comprising a measurement configuration for a secondary node; entering an inactive state; performing measurements according to the measurement configuration for the secondary node immediately after entering the inactive state; generating a measurement report based on the measurements; transmitting, to the master node, a radio resource control (RRC) resume request message; receiving, from the master node, an RRC resume message comprising a request for measurement reporting; and transmitting, to the master node, an RRC resume complete message comprising the measurement report; and receiving data from the secondary node.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may measure quality of experience (QoE) metrics and transmit a QoE report that is formatted to be readable by a base station, such that a base station may receive the QoE report and independently perform adjustments associated with the service being utilized by the UE. A UE may receive a configuration message that includes a first configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a base station and a second configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a QoE server. The UE may measure one or more QoE metrics in accordance with the configuration message, and generate a first report for the base station based on the QoE measurements and the first configuration. Upon generating the report, the UE may transmit the first report to the base station in accordance with the first configuration.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are described that support techniques for wireless communications using multiple radio access technologies (RATs). Described techniques provide for dual-connectivity (DC), carrier aggregation, or both, in which different carriers are provided via different RATs. A multi-RAT DC configuration may include separate network entities that provide communications for different cell groups for different RATs, where dynamic power control may be implemented across RATs. Additionally, or alternatively, a multi-RAT carrier aggregation techniques may provide separate component carriers configured for carrier aggregation, where different component carriers that use different RATs. Combinations of DC and carrier aggregation may be provided, in which a cell group of a DC configuration may include multiple component carriers in a carrier aggregation scheme.
