In some aspects, a user equipment may select at least one target node for a radio resource control connection, wherein the user equipment is in a particular radio resource control communication state when the at least one target node is selected, and wherein the user equipment is configured to communicate using dual-connectivity, wherein context information associated with the user equipment is stored by the user equipment, a master node associated with the user equipment, and a secondary node associated with the user equipment based at least in part on the user equipment being in the particular radio resource control communication state; and/or transmit information to the at least one target node or the master node to cause the context information to be provided to the at least one target node. 摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing measurement reporting. One aspect is a method for performing measurement reporting at a user equipment, including: receiving, from a master node, a message comprising a measurement configuration for a secondary node; entering an inactive state; performing measurements according to the measurement configuration for the secondary node immediately after entering the inactive state; generating a measurement report based on the measurements; transmitting, to the master node, a radio resource control (RRC) resume request message; receiving, from the master node, an RRC resume message comprising a request for measurement reporting; and transmitting, to the master node, an RRC resume complete message comprising the measurement report; and receiving data from the secondary node.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) establishes a unicast link with a second UE, including establishing an authentication and security establishment procedure between the first UE and the second UE. The UE establishes a security context with the second UE during the authentication and security establishment procedure. The UE starts a timer based on a status of the unicast link. The UE reestablishes the unicast link with the second UE using the security context when the unicast link is reestablished prior to expiration of the timer.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may measure quality of experience (QoE) metrics and transmit a QoE report that is formatted to be readable by a base station, such that a base station may receive the QoE report and independently perform adjustments associated with the service being utilized by the UE. A UE may receive a configuration message that includes a first configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a base station and a second configuration for reporting QoE measurements to a QoE server. The UE may measure one or more QoE metrics in accordance with the configuration message, and generate a first report for the base station based on the QoE measurements and the first configuration. Upon generating the report, the UE may transmit the first report to the base station in accordance with the first configuration.

Accordingly, an apparatus, e.g., a UE, may be configured to receive, from a master node, a configuration comprising a mapping of cell identities for a plurality of secondary cells for reporting SN measurements and transmitting an SN report comprising measurements for at least a subset of the plurality of secondary cells using the mapping of cell identities. The apparatus may be configured to receive, from a first master node, a configuration for MN-DC, enter an inactive state or an idle state, and resume a connected state with a second master node.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a multicast or broadcast radio bearer (MRB) in a radio link control (RLC) acknowledged mode (AM). The UE may determine an adjustment of an RLC AM transmission window of a base station. The RLC AM transmission window may be associated with retransmission of RLC packets associated with the MRB. The UE may synchronize an RLC AM reception window of the UE with the RLC AM transmission window based at least in part on determining the adjustment of the RLC AM transmission window of the base station. The RLC AM reception window may be associated with reassembly of RLC packets associated with the MRB. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are described that support techniques for wireless communications using multiple radio access technologies (RATs). Described techniques provide for dual-connectivity (DC), carrier aggregation, or both, in which different carriers are provided via different RATs. A multi-RAT DC configuration may include separate network entities that provide communications for different cell groups for different RATs, where dynamic power control may be implemented across RATs. Additionally, or alternatively, a multi-RAT carrier aggregation techniques may provide separate component carriers configured for carrier aggregation, where different component carriers that use different RATs. Combinations of DC and carrier aggregation may be provided, in which a cell group of a DC configuration may include multiple component carriers in a carrier aggregation scheme.
