    摘要: In one embodiment, an apparatus configured to code video data includes a processor and a memory unit. The memory unit stores video data associated with a first layer having a first spatial resolution and a second layer having a second spatial resolution. The video data associated with the first layer includes at least a first layer block and first layer prediction mode information associated with the first layer block, and the first layer block includes a plurality of sub-blocks where each sub-block is associated with respective prediction mode data of the first layer prediction mode information. The processor derives the predication mode data associated with one of the plurality of sub-blocks based at least on a selection rule, upsamples the derived prediction mode data and the first layer block, and associates the upsampled prediction mode data with each upsampled sub-block of the upsampled first layer block.

    摘要: An apparatus configured to construct a reference picture list includes a memory and one or more processors in communication with the memory. The memory is configured to store one or more reference pictures. The one or more processors are configured to determine (i) a first number representative of a total number of reference pictures available for prediction in at least one of inter mode or intra block copy mode and (ii) a second number representative of a total number of reference pictures to be included in the reference picture list, and in response to a determination that the second number is greater than or equal to the first number, refrain from replacing a reference picture in the reference picture list with a current picture to be predicted. The one or more processors may encode or decode the current picture based on the reference picture list.

    摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for coding video data according to an intra Block Copy (BC) coding mode. A block vector difference that identifies a prediction block may be represented by a plurality of syntax elements, which may be encoded and decoded. This disclosure proposes various techniques whereby a video encoder may conditionally signal syntax elements representing the absolute value and/or sign of the components of the block vector difference. Likewise, a video decoder may be configured to infer the values of the syntax elements representing the absolute value and/or sign of the components of the block vector difference when such syntax elements are not signaled.
