摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE), such as a dual-subscription UE, support a first subscription and a second subscription. The first subscription may be in an active mode with a first cell and the second subscription may be in an idle mode with a second cell, and the UE may determine whether to exit or postpone entrance into a merged state in which the UE may perform idle mode measurements for the second subscription using the first subscription and the first cell based on a channel quality-based merge condition. For example, the UE may measure a channel quality associated with a communication link between the UE and the first cell and, in examples in which the measured channel quality fails to satisfy a threshold channel quality, the UE may exit or postpone entrance into the merged state.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive handover information associated with one or more neighbor cells. The UE may identify that a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle associated with a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the UE at least partially overlaps with a second DRX cycle associated with a second SIM of the UE. The UE may identify that at least one of the first DRX cycle or the second DRX cycle does not overlap with a third DRX cycle associated with a neighbor cell of the one or more neighbor cells. The UE may transmit, to the neighbor cell, a message associated with a handover of at least one of the first SIM or the second SIM to the neighbor cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: In various embodiments, a wireless device processor may determine a threat score for a first cell, determine whether the first cell threat score is below a first threat score threshold, update a good neighbor cell data structure using neighbor cell information from the first cell in response to determining that the first cell threat score is below the first threat score threshold, performing cell reselection to a second cell, determine whether the second cell transmits a system information block message indicating fake neighbor cell information, and increase a threat score for the second cell in response to determining that the second cell provides the SIB message indicating fake neighbor cell information and that a good neighbor cell data structure includes an indication of one or more good neighbor cells that are within the time threshold and the location threshold and doing countermeasures in a response to the determination.

摘要: Aspects relate to techniques for expediting New Radio (NR) cell addition in non-standalone (NSA) mode. The UE may receive a conditional handover (CHO) command from a first anchor cell operating a first frequency range (e.g., a Long Term Evolution (LTE) frequency range) that enables the UE to subsequently select a different anchor cell to which to perform a handover. The UE may then receive a deconfiguration from the first anchor cell of a measurement object for secondary cell addition in a second frequency range (e.g., a NR frequency range). Based on the CHO command and the deconfiguration of the measurement object, the UE may then perform a handover to a second anchor cell in the first frequency range to facilitate addition of at least one secondary cell in the second frequency range.

In some aspects, a wireless device, such as an in-vehicle device, may determine a selection value for a cell that indicates a priority for selection of the cell by the wireless device and calculates, from the selection value, an adjusted selection value for the cell using an offset that increases a priority of selection for cells that support in-vehicle emergency calls. The wireless device selectively selects the cell based at least in part on the adjusted selection value. Numerous other aspects are provided.
