Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes: operating in a Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) mode or a Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) mode in which a first subscriber identity module (SIM) is designated as a default data subscription (DDS); determining a recommendation to change the DDS from the first SIM to a second SIM at a modem, informing a user of the recommendation to change the DDS; changing the DDS in response to, at least in part, the recommendation an input from the user; updating a first state variable to indicate a state of the DDS; and routing internet data to the second SIM.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a method may include simulating a degradation of at least one of a first wireless communication link with a network or a different second wireless communication link with the network based on detecting that a first set of one or more packets, which were received via the first wireless communication link with the network and were added to a packet buffer, and a second set of one or more packets, which were received via the different second wireless communication link with the network and were added to the packet buffer, satisfy a threshold occupancy of the packet buffer. Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) identifies a plurality of packets to send to a receiver. The packets may include radio link control (RLC) layer protocol data units (PDUs) and each may be associated with a logical channel for transmission and have a corresponding sequence number (SN). The UE may adjust a manner of assembling a transport block based at least in part on a logical channel configuration of the packets, whether the packets include RLC segments, an uplink transmission timing requirement, a number and size of transport blocks to be processed concurrently, a resource allocation associated with an uplink grant, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a communication configuration for a bearer including a first link and a second link. The UE may identify packets for transmission, and each of the packets may be associated with a sequence number. The UE may receive a first grant of first uplink resources and a second grant of second uplink resources, and the UE may determine an association of the packets to the first uplink resources or the second uplink resources based on the sequence numbers of the packets and respective completion times of decoding processes associated with the first uplink resources and the second uplink resources. The UE may transmit the packets over the first uplink resources or the second uplink resources in accordance with the determined association of the packets to the first uplink resources or the second uplink resources.
