The apparatus may also select a first scheduling offset of the at least one scheduling offset associated with the propagation delay between the base station and the UE. Additionally, the apparatus may transmit, to the base station, an uplink transmission based on the first scheduling offset, the uplink transmission being associated with a PUSCH, a PUCCH, or a PRACH.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a broadcast or a multicast (broadcast/multicast) scheduling configuration for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration identifying, for receiving broadcast/multicast communications, at least one of: a plurality of radio network temporary identifiers that are respectively associated with a plurality of beams, or one or more bandwidth parts. The UE may receive a broadcast/multicast communication associated with a broadcast/multicast control channel or a broadcast/multicast traffic channel via a physical downlink shared channel in accordance with the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration for the PDCCH. Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods, devices, and systems for wireless communications. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit a multicast message to a group of user equipment (UEs), and the UEs may provide feedback for the multicast message. In some implementations, the base station may configure the UEs to transmit feedback for multicast messages. In some example, the UEs may transmit group-negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback information for multicast messages that are not successfully received at the UEs. In some other examples, each UE may be configured with UE-specific uplink control channel resources for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a multicast message. In some implementations, a UE may support feedback for both unicast and multicast messages. The semi-static codebook for unicast, multicast, or both may account for whether the UE is capable of concurrently receiving unicast and multicast messages in a slot.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for secondary cell activation using temporary reference signals are provided. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), includes receiving, from a base station (BS) via a first cell, an activation command to activate a second cell different from the first cell, and receiving, from the BS via the second cell during an activation period, a first reference signal different from a synchronization signal block (SSB). The method further includes performing a measurement of the first reference signal, and operating in the second cell based on the measurement. In some aspects, using reference signals different from SSBs may reduce the delay associated with activating the secondary cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a codebook type for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by the UE to a second device (e.g., a network device, a satellite, or a base station). The indication of the codebook type may indicate a HARQ feedback transmission configuration, such as a static HARQ feedback transmission configuration. The HARQ transmission configuration may be associated with a one bit or two bit HARQ codebook. The UE may receive a scheduled downlink shared channel transmission, and attempt to decode the received downlink shared channel transmission. The UE may transmit (or refrain from transmitting) the HARQ feedback based on the decoding of the scheduled downlink shared channel transmission and in accordance with the feedback mode.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing a size of semistatic codebooks for HARQ feedback. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for a time period, determining a maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions the UE can receive during the time period, receiving one or more downlink transmissions during the time period from a base station, and determining a type of encoding for the HARQ feedback based on: (i) a number of the one or more downlink transmissions received, (ii) the number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for the time period, and/or (iii) the maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for indicating transmit power control information to a user equipment (UE) for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions in short transmission time intervals (TTIs) from the UE, and for configuring reference signal transmissions in SPS transmissions of short TTIs. A UE may be configured with uplink power control information for SPS transmissions that use sTTIs that is separate from uplink power control for longer TTIs. A UE may receive the power control information and apply it in SPS transmissions that use sTTIs. Uplink transmit power for SPS sTTI transmissions may be independent of power control for regular sTTI transmissions and independent of power control for long TTI transmissions. UEs may apply a cyclic shift to reference signals transmitted is SPS transmissions according to a SPS configuration, rather than a cyclic shift indicated in a SPS activation command.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to system information communications and decoding are provided. In one embodiment, a wireless communication device receives one or more known bits. The wireless communication device receives a first encoded information block. The wireless communication device decodes the first encoded information block to generate a first information block based on the one or more known bits. In one embodiment, a wireless communication device receives a first encoded information block including a first bit pattern. The wireless communication device receives a second encoded information block including a second bit pattern. The wireless communication device jointly decodes the first encoded information block and the second encoded information block based on an assumption that a difference between the first bit pattern and the second bit pattern is within a subset of a plurality of bit-change patterns.
