摘要: An apparatus includes a housing. The housing includes a concentrator and a plurality of signal acquisition devices. Each signal acquisition device is coupled to a respective sensor. Each sensor measures an environmental parameter outside the housing. Each signal acquisition device includes an acoustic transducer. Each signal acquisition device includes a controller to accept measurements from the respective sensor, process the measurements and format them into a transmittable form, and transmit the formatted measurements via the acoustic transducer. A concentrator includes an acoustic transducer to receive acoustic transmissions from the plurality of signal acquisition devices, a processor to process the received acoustic transmissions, and a telemetry device through which the processor can transmit the processed transmissions.

摘要: In one aspect, a resistivity logging tool for a fluid-producing formation if provided. The resistivity logging tool includes at least one transmitter device connected to at least one excitation electrode, multiple receiver devices respectively connected to monitoring electrodes, and a controller. The transmitter can inject an excitation current into the formation via the excitation electrode. Each receiver device can determine a respective voltage level induced by the excitation current. The controller can determine whether a voltage level measured by at least one receiver device is within a specified range. Based on the measured voltage level, the controller can select a global amplitude adjustment algorithm for modifying excitation currents or a localized amplitude adjustment algorithm for modifying one or more gains of one or more receiver devices. The controller can modify the excitation current or gains by executing the selected algorithm.

摘要: An offline trust system establishes a trust relationship between a trust authority computer system and a target computer system without relying on an active network connection between the computer systems. The offline trust system separates the trust establishment operation into a provisioning phase and a configuration phase. The provisioning phase can be performed entirely on the trust authority, while the configuration phase can be performed entirely on the target computer system requesting trust. The two phases can be performed at different times and do not assume any connection between the two computer systems. An administrator may perform the provisioning phase for many target computer systems at the same time. Thus, the offline trust system provides a way to establish trust between computer systems that is more reliable and less prone to failure.

摘要: Sharing security claims across different security contexts. A method includes, for a first security context, identifying a first set of security claims. The method further includes for the first security context identifying a second set of security claims from the first set of security claims that is allowed to be sent from the first security context. The first set of security claims is modified to create the second set of security claims. For a second security context, security claim requirements are identified. The second set of security claims is modified to satisfy the security claim requirements for the second security context.
