Abstract: A user equipment (UE), for example, used with a Vulnerable Road User, determines a relative position of the UE and sends a report of the relative position to one or more vehicle On-Board Units (OBUs), wherein the report further includes an identification of the one or more reference points. The relative position may be with respect to one or more reference points, which may be stationary or moving. The relative position may be determined and reported based on identifiers for the one or more reference points and distance or distance vectors to each of the one or more reference points. The relative position may be determined based on data from one or more one board sensors, such as radar, lidar, ultrasound, or camera, as well as with wireless transceivers. The relative position may additionally include a heading and a placement with respect to one or more street elements.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable wireless communications to be adaptive to a dynamic environment, where wireless devices may manage wireless communications, such as performing beam managements, based at least in part on environmental conditions. In one aspect, a network entity receives, from a sensor device or a UE, a request for an ML data service. The network entity establishes, with the sensor device or the UE, the ML data service based on the request. The network entity receives, from the sensor device, ML data including a set of features extracted from at least one sensor of the sensor device or information indicative of at least one beam for the ML data service. The network entity transmits, to the UE, a beam indication to modify the at least one beam based at least in part on the ML data received from the sensor device during the ML data service.

The network entity may identify route data, safety data, or both. The network entity may transmit the route data, the safety data, or both to the UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support paging for network-based user equipment (UE)-to-UE communication. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication performed at a network entity includes identifying a UE-to-UE paging request condition originating at a source UE. The method also includes identifying one or more other network entities within a paging area relative to a location of the source UE. The method further includes transmitting, to the one or more other network entities, one or more paging messages in accordance with the UE-to-UE paging request condition. Abstract: A first UE and a second UE may exchange information relating to one or more machine learning data services. The one or more machine learning data services may be provided by the second UE. The first UE and the second UE may pair with each other for the one or more machine learning data services. The second UE may perform machine learning inference using at least one machine learning inference model, and may transmit the inference result (e.g., a link quality prediction) associated with a link between a network node and the first UE to the network node. The network node may switch (the direction of) the network node beam if the inference result predicts that the degree of link quality degradation associated with a current network node beam is going to be greater than a prespecified threshold.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for prioritization of sidelink-based positioning transmissions. A first UE may receive a request to initiate a sidelink positioning session with a second UE for which a sidelink positioning transmission will overlap in a time domain with communication between the first UE and a base station over a Uu access link. The first UE may transmit the sidelink positioning transmission if a first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is higher than a second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link. The first UE may adjust transmission of the sidelink positioning transmission if the first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is not higher than the second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link.
