    摘要: Systems, devices, and methods, including executable instructions and/or logic thereon, are provided for server site selection. A system includes a load balancing master configured to have a domain name server (DNS) capability with extensions to support iterative control and a manager capability to select among server sites to probe. The system includes a load balancing slave, communicatively coupled to the master, configured to have a DNS reflection capability to measure a round trip time (RTT) between the load balancing slave and a client local DNS server and an actor capability to respond to commands from the manager and to report a measured RTT to the load balancing master.

    摘要: Example embodiments relate to preventing MAC spoofing. In this manner, the embodiments disclosed herein enable sending, from a requesting mobile device, a generic advertisement service (GAS) message on a channel. Responsive to sending the GAS message, a first GAS response message and a second GAS response message may be received on the channel within a predetermined time period after sending the GAS message on the channel. A first CSI fingerprint from the first GAS response message may be compared to a stored CSI fingerprint. A second CSI fingerprint from the second GAS response message may also be compared to the stored CSI fingerprint. Responsive to the first CSI fingerprint being a closer match to the stored CSI fingerprint than the second CSI fingerprint, the requesting mobile device may be connected to an access point associated with first GAS response message.

    摘要: A wireless access point can identify a group of service providers that can provide access for respective subscriber devices. The wireless access point can periodically monitor its network traffic load. In response to determining that the amount of the network traffic load is above a threshold amount, the wireless access point selects one or more service providers from the group, and impedes use of each of the selected one or more service providers from the wireless access point by one or more additional subscriber devices that have not yet connected to the wireless access point.
