Abstract: Modular apparatus for filling and closing randomly fed-containers including: a transport system for transporting the containers on a first transport plane along a respective article transport direction; a transport system transporting closing elements on a transport plane in a respective transport direction; a filling station; a closing station; an extraction system for transporting the filled and closed containers; first pick and place devices for picking up and positioning the containers; second pick and place devices for picking up and positioning said closing elements; a detection system which detects the position and the arrangement of the containers and the closing elements; a processing and control unit.
The extraction system includes a plane, which is oriented parallel to the longitudinal direction for extraction of the containers and a transverse widthwise direction of the apparatus and on which the filled and closed articles are transported arranged with a predefined orientation and/or position.

Abstract: An apparatus for unscrambling articles, in particular containers fed randomly to an inlet of the apparatus, includes a transport system for transporting the articles fed to the inlet, devices for picking and releasing the articles configured to pick up the articles arranged randomly on the transport system and release them to an extraction system with a predefined orientation and/or position, a detection system designed to detect the position and the arrangement of the articles in transit on the transport system and to provide the information for controlling the pick and release devices, and a unit for processing and controlling the components and the drives of the apparatus. The extraction system includes a plane for supporting the containers being extracted and means for extracting the articles, designed to pick up the articles released by the pick and release devices and transport them on the plane towards the outlet of the apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus for unscrambling articles includes a transport system for transporting randomly-arranged articles on a transport plane and a system for extracting articles arranged with a predefined orientation and/or position. A detection system is designed to detect position and arrangement of the articles in transit and to provide information for controlling gripping and release devices, while a unit for processing and controlling components and drives of the apparatus is designed to receive the position and/or arrangement information of the articles and to control the gripping and release devices. The pick and release devices include a robot for picking up articles only from the first section, and a robot for picking up articles only from the second section.
