Abstract: A method for bioelectric physiological signal acquisition includes:/a/ providing an autonomous bioelectric physiological signal acquisition device including an electrode and an acquisition chain associated to the electrode,/b/ acquiring an analog signal representative of a bioelectric physiological signal with the electrode,/c/ amplifying the analog signal by an amplification factor via a programmable analog amplifier of the acquisition chain,/d/ converting the amplified analog signal in a digital signal via an analog digital converter of the acquisition chain,/e/ processing the digital signal to determine whether the digital signal is considered saturated, if the digital signal is considered saturated,/f/ selecting, in a list of predefined amplification factors, an amplification factor lower than the amplification factor currently applied to the digital signal by the programmable analog amplifier, and/g/ updating the amplification factor of the programmable analog amplifier to the selected amplification factor.

Abstract: A method for bioelectric physiological signal acquisition and processing including: a first signal processing operation including: /a/ acquiring a first analog signal, /b/ converting the first analog signal in a first digital signal with a first bit depth, /c/ transferring the first digital signal with the first bit depth to a microprocessor; upon reception of a signal to switch from a first operating mode to a second operating mode, a second signal processing operation including: /e/ acquiring a second analog signal, /f/ converting the second analog signal in a second digital signal with a first bit depth, /g/ converting the second digital signal with the first bit depth to a converted second digital signal with a second bit depth, /h/ transferring the converted second digital signal to the microprocessor, and /i/ processing the transferred signal on the microprocessor.
