    摘要: Nonaqueous polymer dispersions are obtainable by polymerization of esters (A) of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and/or ethylacrylic acid with C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alcohols in an organic solvent or a mixture of organic solvents in which the polymers formed are insoluble, and in the presence of copolymers (B) having a molecular weight of from 500 to 20,000 and obtainable by bulk or solution polymerization of monoolefinically unsaturated monomers at from 180.degree. to 400.degree. C. and from 1 to 200 bar, and the said dispersions are used for the production of finishes, coating materials and adhesives.

    摘要: Epoxy resin materials essentially contain(A) an epoxy resin having a mean molecular weight of from 300 to 6,000 and on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxy groups in the molecule and(B) a polyacrylate resin obtainable by polymerization of essentially(b.sub.1) from 30 to 95% by weight of esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and/or ethylacrylic acid with C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alcohols in the presence of(b.sub.2) from 5 to 70% by weight of carboxyl-containing copolymers having a mean molecular weight of from 500 to 20,000, obtainable by bulk or solution polymerizationand are used for heat-curable finishes, adhesive bonds and coatings.

    摘要: Binders contain(A) copolymers of(a) from 5 to 70% by weight of monoesters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic with dihydric to hexahydric C.sub.2 -C.sub.18 -alcohols,(b) from 0.1 to 80% by weight of esters or amides of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid with monofunctional C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 -alcohols or -amines which have an open-chain and/or cyclic urea group in the ester or amide radical,(c) from 1 to 60% by weight of esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid with monofunctional C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alcohols and(d) from 0 to 60% by weight of other comonomers, and(B) polyisocyanates, some or all of whose isocyanate groups may be blocked with CH--, NH--- or OH--acidic blocking agents and which have an isocyanate functionality of from 2.5 to 6.These binders are employed for the preparation of polyurethane finishes, which are used to produce coatings.

    摘要: A process for the production of coatings based on reaction products of(A) polyhydroxypolyacrylate resins obtained from hydroxyalkyl esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid, alkyl esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid, and one or more polymerizable, olefinically unsaturated nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, with or without vinylaromatics, (meth)acrylamides and other monomers, with(B) isocyanurate-containing polyisocyanates which may or may not contain biuret groups, have a functionality of from 2.5 to 6 and consist of a mixture of polyisocyanates possessing predominantly cycloaliphatically bonded isocyanate groups with those possessing predominantly aliphatically bonded isocyanate groups.The process is particularly useful for coating metal components.

    摘要: Baking finishes having a high solids content contain, as the binder, a copolymer of one or more mono-acrylate or monomethacrylate of an alkanediol, an ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of below -40.degree. C., an ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of above 35.degree. C. and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, which copolymer has a Fikentscher K value of from 13 to 17 and may or may not be used in combination with conventional aminoplast precondensates having a crosslinking action. These baking finishes are particularly useful as binders for automotive finishes.

    摘要: An inorganic pigment exhibiting improved gloss and distribution in lacquer binders, carrying a coating comprising a SiOH-containing organosilicon compound and an alkanolamine. Advantageously the alkanolamine comprises at least one of triethanolamine, triisopropanolamine, diethanolamine, diisopropanolamine and 2-amino-2-methyl-propanol-1, the organosilicon compound is of the formula ##STR1## wherein n>3, R and R.sup.1 each independently is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkenyl or a group of the formula ##STR2## wherein m>1, the organosilicon compound having an OH:Si ratio within the range of about 1:1 to 1:20, and the pigment comprises TiO.sub.2 or a titanate carrying an inorganic coating, the organosilicon compound plus alkanolamine ranging from about 0.3 to 1% by weight of the organosilicon compound to alkanolamine ranging from about 1:2 to 1:5.
