The conductor member (16) has an opening (34) to allow for the insertion of an extended surface of the spring clip (24). Once in position, the spring clip (24) and conductor member (16) are frictionally engaged and define a channel (126) that will accept and hold a stab blade (12). The stab assembly (14) is retained within a molded case circuit breaker (10) and provides electrical contact between a bus bar and the circuit breaker.

摘要： An arc fault circuit breaker (10) conducting an electric current to a protected load is presented. The circuit breaker (10) has a first (mechanical) compartment (24) and a second (electrical) compartment (62). A bimetal resistor (50) is disposed within the first compartment (24) and conducts the current therethrough. The bimetal resistor (50) has a stud (56) extending into the second compartment (62). A single sense line (60) is electrically connected to the bimetal resistor (50) and routed into the second compartment (62). The sense line (60) and said stud (56) conduct a voltage signal indicative of arcing of the current. A circuit board (84) is disposed within the second compartment (62) and is connected to the sense line (60) and stud (56) within the second compartment (62) to process the voltage signal. The circuit board (84) has a first conductive path (104) electrically connected to the stud (56), and a second conductive path (106) electrically connected to the sense line (60). The first and second conductive paths (104,106) run substantially parallel and proximate to each other such that electromagnetic interference of the voltage signal is substantially reduced.

摘要： An arc fault circuit breaker assembled such that electrical interconnections, i.e., electrical connections between compartments, are made without disassembling any previously assembled compartment. The arc fault circuit breaker comprises housings having compartments within. Electrically connected components having interconnecting components, i.e., components which provide electrical interconnections between compartments, are disposed within the compartments. The housings are assembled together to enclose the compartments. Interconnecting components within an enclosed compartment extend through openings in the housings to provide electrical interconnections to the next compartment to be assembled. Therefore, no disassembly of the enclosed compartment is necessary to make the interconnections.

摘要： An interlock arrangement between a pair of industrial rated circuit breakers in adjoining circuit breaker compartments utilizes a pair of circuit breaker interlock units, one mounted on the rear surface of each circuit breaker.
