摘要: The invention relates to a multi-layer composite plates and to a method for producing multi-layer composite plates. Said multi-layer composite plates are comprised of two outer metallic slabs which serve as top and base plates and which are joined to a deformable connecting material located therebetween. The top and base plates are joined to the connecting material by means of a foaming adhesive which fills the cavities remaining in the composite. The cavities remaining in the composite are completely or partially filled by the adhesive. According to the method for producing multi-layer composite plates, adhesive is introduced between the layers to be joined, and the adhesive is subjected to a thermal treatment. The adhesive is completely or partially hardened during the thermal treatment. In the case of the partially hardened adhesive, the adhesive is completely hardened during an additional thermal treatment only after the multi-layer composite plate is reshaped.

摘要: The invention concerns a rolling stand, a rolling train, and a method for rolling a stepped preprofiled metal strip. In order to guarantee that the metal strip is free of waviness in its longitudinal direction, even after individual thickness reduction of the steps, the invention proposes that the thickness reduction be carried out on a step-specific basis according to the following mathematical relationship: Δhi/hi=Δhi+1/hi+1=ε=constant, where Δhi represents the amount of the thickness reduction in the region of the i-th step, and hi represents the value of the resulting thickness of the metal strip 200 after rolling in the region of the i-th step.

摘要: Heating devices are used to prevent icing and deposition of fuel on the throttle valve under adverse operating conditions; these device comprise electrical resistance hot wires applied to the surface of the throttle valve, yet these wires lead to undesired turbulence in the fuel-air mixture flow. As the length of time in operation increases, the efficiency of the hot wires is lessened by corrosion of their surface. These disadvantages are avoided by integrating the heating device with the component to be heated. To this end, the heating device is disposed in an axial bore of the throttle valve shaft. This arrangement is used especially with mixture-compressing internal combustion engines equipped with carburetors or central injection systems.

摘要: A casting roll for a two-roll casting device for the casting of metallic strip from a metal melt, in particular a steel melt, includes a roll body, on a casing surface of which a coating consisting of a coating material is applied by thermal spraying, which has a higher degree of hardness than the roll body. The casting roll according to the invention and the two-roll casting device, while easy to manufacture, has not only a long service life, but also allows for the manufacture of cast strips of optimum quality. This is achieved by the fact that the free surface of the coating, after thermal spraying, has a peak number RPc of at least 10 cm−1.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for open-die forging of workpieces in forging presses at high forging temperatures, more particularly steel billets or ferrous alloy billets between about 800 and 1250 degrees Celsius. In conventional open-die forging it is often not possible to complete the forging process in a single heat, and the workpiece must therefore be reheated. Also, with direct contact between workpiece and tool, cracks occur, particularly in the vicinity of bulges, the prevention or straightening of which requires repeated transverse hammer- or pressure-forging, so lengthening the cooling time. The total energy consumption for deformation and heating of the workpieces is therefore relatively high. Reduction of this energy consumption, a surprising improvement in product quality, and almost complete elimination of bulges are achieved by means of the invention, in that during forging the workpiece undergoes lubrication effective at the forging temperature, the lubricant being a fluid glass film. The lubricant is advantageously applied in the form of a fine powder.

摘要: A method and a device for flexibly rolling a metal band by guiding the metal band through a roll gap formed between a first working roll and a second working roll, and by varying the size of the roll gap in such a way that band sections with a greater band thickness and band sections with a lesser band thickness are obtained over the length of the metal band. In the device and method, the time of contact between each point on the circumference of the first working roll and the metal band is shorter in duration than the time of contact between each point on the circumference of the second working roll and the metal band such that an asymmetric band thickness profile is obtained in a region of the band sections with a lesser band thickness.
