    摘要: An apparatus and method for reducing responses when executing a session protocol operation is disclosed. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, a mobile device generates a binary encoded message having an indication from which a server can determine a session protocol operation to be performed without communicating all responses for the SIP transaction. The binary encoded message is sent from the mobile device and received by the server. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, the server determines, based on the indication in the binary encoded message, the SIP transaction to be performed without communicating all SIP responses relating to the SIP transaction. The server then attempts the SIP transaction. By reducing the number of SIP responses, communication resources for the mobile device can be conserved.     摘要: An apparatus and method for macro operation involving a plurality of session protocol transactions is disclosed. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, a mobile device generates a binary encoded message having an indication from which a server can determine a plurality of session protocol transactions to be performed. The binary encoded message is sent from the mobile device and received by the server. In accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure, the server determines the plurality of session protocol transactions to be performed based on the indication in the binary encoded message and attempts the plurality of session protocol transactions. By reducing the number of messages between the mobile device and the server, and by reducing the message size compared to SIP messages, communication resources for the mobile device can be conserved. Also battery power for the mobile device can be conserved.

The system and mobile device are configured to ensure all calls over a public land mobile network are routed through an enterprise communications system. The enterprise communication system responds to a request to connect the mobile device and the remote party by establishing a first call with the mobile device, establishing a second call with the remote party, and bridging the two calls to connect the mobile device to the remote party.

    摘要: A method on a wireless user equipment (UE) device facilitates integration of an outgoing cellular call as an enterprise call. The UE device attaches to a wide area cellular network on which the device has a non-enterprise address. Upon blocking incoming calls, the UE device sends a request to a node in a data network to initiate an outgoing cellular call with an expectation of receiving an incoming circuit-switched (CS) call back from the network node within a time window. The incoming CS call contains an enterprise address associated with a user of the wireless UE device as a calling line identity to identify that the incoming CS call is related to the request to initiate the outgoing cellular call. The UE device indicates to the network node that a call leg is established between the enterprise user and the network node.

    摘要: Aspects relate to initiating voice calls to mobile devices from an enterprise network. In one example, a server can initiate a voice channel to a mobile device, and if the mobile device cannot be reached, an access network may redirect the call from the server to a number identified as a voicemail number; however, such number is reconfigured to instead be directed to a number located within the enterprise network. The server can monitor or receive an indication that a call is incoming, and attributable to the mobile device. If such a call is incoming or received, then the server determines that the call has failed. If the mobile device answers the call, the server can determine that the voice channel has been established, without waiting for a confirmation indication, such as a DTMF tone.
