    摘要: Video content is a time varying presentation of scenes or video frames. Each frame can contain a number of scene elements such as actors, foreground items, background items, or other items. A person enjoying video content can select a scene element by specifying a screen coordinate while the video content plays. Frame specification data identifies the specific frame or scene being displayed when the coordinate is selected. The coordinate in combination with the frame specification data is sufficient to identify the scene element that the person has chosen, information about the scene element can then be presented to the person. An annotation database can relate the scene elements to the frame specification data and coordinates.

    摘要: Venue-based data including video from cameras located at a sports venue can be provided to hand held devices authorized by at least one casino. A casino patron's hand held device can enable to view sporting events provided to a hand held device from a server and placement of wagers with the server. Venue-based data including video and statistics are received from server including camera views captured as video by at least one camera located within at least one sports venue. Venue-based data is processed at server for display on a display associated with at least one hand held device operating within a casino. Venue-based data is displayed on hand held devices, enabling casino patrons to view event video. Portable devices can be authorized only when moving about a casino. Casino patrons can also gamble using said hand held device while viewing selected sporting events within the casino.

The hand held device can be authorized to receive and process the data utilizing a security code. The data can be processed for display on a display screen associated with the hand held device. Video of the visual perspective(s) can be streamed via the display screen in response to a user selection of the visual perspective(s) from the data processed for display on the display screen, the user selection provided via a user interface associated with the hand held device.

Data transmitted from one or more venue-based data sources may be received by at least one hand held device present within a venue, such as a sports stadium or concert arena. Such data can be processed for display on a display screen associated with the hand held device. The processed data may be then displayed on the display screen, thereby enabling a user of the hand held device to view venue-based data through the hand held device. Such venue-based data viewable through the hand held device within the venue may include real-time and instant replay video images and clips, advertising and promotional information, scheduling, statistical, historical and other informational data, or a combination thereof.

    摘要: Methods and systems for gauging vehicle movement for use in facilitating automotive safety. In an example embodiment, a determination is made whether or not one or more objects (e.g., a car, a truck, a motorcycle, a bicycle, a pedestrian, etc) are in motion with respect to a vehicle in which a user/occupant of a vehicle is located, in response to identifying such objects with respect to the vehicle in which the user of the vehicle is located. The speed and trajectory of the identified object and the environmental condition surrounding the vehicle can be estimated, if it is determined that the identified object or objects are in motion. The speed and trajectory of the identified object can be then correlated with the environmental condition (e.g., whether it is raining, snowing, etc) and the type of identified object (e.g., a car or a particular make and model of the car, a pedestrian, etc) to generate data indicative of the speed and the trajectory of the identified object, which takes into account the environmental conditions (e.g., weather, rain, wind, temperature, pressure, etc) surrounding the vehicle and the type of identified object. An alert can be then generated that is indicative of safety factors such as as the speed and trajectory of the identified object or objects.
