    摘要: An interface retention and support apparatus and method of use is disclosed. In one form, an extension apparatus can include a first coupling interface operable to be coupled to an first expansion terminal of a printed circuit board. The apparatus can also include a retention mechanism aligned to a surface of the first coupling interface. The retention mechanism can be used to engage a first exterior surface of the first expansion terminal upon coupling the first coupling interface to the first expansion terminal. The apparatus can further include an access terminal operably coupled to the first coupling interface and an expansion circuit coupled between the first coupling interface and the access terminal. The expansion circuit can electrically couple the first expansion terminal to access terminal.

    摘要: In accordance with the present disclosure, a detachable power cable interface box (PCIB) for coupling AC power to a rack-level power infrastructure is described. The detachable PCIB includes a body section and a terminal disposed within the body section. The terminal may be coupled to an AC power source. A wiring block may also be disposed within the body, and the modular wiring block may be coupled to the terminal. The wiring block may arrange power input from the AC power source into a pre-determined output configuration corresponding to a detachable interface. The system may also include the detachable interface, and the detachable interface may be configured to couple with an integrated connector of the rack-level power infrastructure. The detachable interface may be common to all types of AC power sources.

    摘要: The present invention provides a rack mount mechanism that includes first and second recessed slides fixed in a stationary position and first and second mounting brackets slideably mounted on the first and second recessed slides, respectively. The first and second mounting brackets each have front and back ends extending, for example, perpendicularly inward from the base of the mounting brackets. A frame is included which is attachable to the computer enclosure and has front and back rails. Each rail has an edge extending, for example, perpendicularly outward from the base of the rail and each edge has a plurality of apertures. An angled bar-nut is coupled to each of the rails by threading the angled portion of each angled bar-nut through an aperture in the edge of the rail and including a screw and a cage nut to secure the angled portion of each angled bar-nut to the edge of each rail. The front and back ends of the first and second mounting brackets are positioned between and coupled to each angled bar-nut and the edge of the front and back rails, respectively.
