摘要: The invention relates to a method for machining at least one switchgear cabinet including:
providing at least one switchgear cabinet which is constructed in several parts and comprises at least one detachably mounted component;
disassembling and removing the detachably mounted component from the switch cabinet;
machining the disassembled and removed component and providing the machined component for reassembly on the associated switch cabinet; and
re-assigning the machined component provided for reassembly to the corresponding control cabinet,
wherein the at least one switch cabinet has an individual machine-readable switch cabinet identification and the at least one removably mounted component has an individual machine-readable component identification, which are assigned to one another, wherein re-assigning the component to the switch cabinet comprising machine-reading of the machine-readable identifications and bringing together the component and the switch cabinet which have the mutually assigned identifications.-

摘要: An apparatus for monitoring a switchgear includes: an input unit; a processing unit; and an output unit. The input unit is provides the processing unit with a monitor infra-red image of the switchgear. The processing unit implements a machine learning classifier algorithm to analyse the monitor infra-red image and determine if there is one or more anomalous hot spots in the switchgear. The machine learning classifier algorithm has been trained based on a plurality of different training infra-red images. The plurality of training infra-red images include a plurality of modified infra-red images generated from a corresponding plurality of infra-red images, each of the modified infra-red images having been modified to remove an effect of obscuration in the image. The output unit outputs information relating to the one or more anomalous hot spots.

An electrical power device is obtainable by the method, and the electrical power device may be used as an AC or DC insulator in an HVAC or HVDC apparatus.-

摘要: In one embodiment, an energy management module having a form factor adapted to fit within one or more slots of a load center or panelboard of a structure is provided. The energy management module includes a housing configured to fit within the one or more slots of the load center or panelboard. It has a plurality of current sensor connectors configured to connect to current sensors that measure current flowing through breakers of the load center or panelboard to circuits within the structure. One or more power measurement DSPs are provided to measure power consumption of the circuits. It further has a microcontroller unit with a wireless network interface configured to communicate the power consumption measurements to a host controller or cloud services that provide the power consumption measurements for display in an energy management user interface.

摘要: A switchgear system includes a switchgear frame and a truck carrying a circuit breaker, which includes a breaker housing, a fixed electrical contact and a movable electrical contact mounted within the breaker housing, an actuator piston connected to the movable electrical contact, and a drive assembly coupled to the actuator piston. A sensor circuit is mounted on the switchgear frame under the truck and aligned with the circuit breaker and configured to acquire displacement data of the actuator piston when in a contact testing position. A controller is coupled to the sensor circuit and configured to receive the displacement data and determine electrical contact erosion within the circuit breaker.

摘要: An arc shield for electrical switching apparatuses is provided. The arc shield comprises a mounting base and a detachable barrier and includes a multi-point mounting system that eliminates the need for hardware and gloves when installing the detachable barrier on the mounting base. The mounting base is formed with a hinge tab and two locking tabs, and the detachable barrier is formed with a corresponding notch and two tab receiving openings formed with retention profile. The notch can be seated on the hinge tab in order to establish a hinge, and once the hinge is established, the locking tabs can be inserted through the tab receiving openings by bending the detachable barrier. Once the bending force is removed, the retention profiles of the locking tabs ensure that the detachable barrier cannot be removed from the mounting base unless a bending force is intentionally reapplied to the barrier.

Embodiments include a method for electrical equipment refit management, comprising: receiving a selection of an order of an existing electrical equipment system to disassemble and, in response, retrieving and providing a plurality of disassembly instructions; performing an iterative disassembly process to manage the disassembly of the existing electrical equipment system. A selection of an order of a refit electrical equipment system to assemble is received and, in response, retrieving and providing a plurality of refit instructions; An iterative assembly process is performed to manage the assembly of the refit electrical equipment system. Digital artifacts of the refit electrical equipment system are recorded during performance of the plurality of refit instructions as part of the iterative assembly process. A final assembly report for the refit electrical equipment system and stored together with a unique identifier corresponding to the assembled refit electrical equipment system.

摘要: A plug-on neutral (PON) device includes a housing that defines a phase cooperation portion configured to physically cooperate with phase buses of a bus assembly. The phase cooperation portion is configured to be electrically isolated from the phase buses and stabilize the PON device when installed on the bus assembly. A neutral cooperation portion is configured to physically cooperate with the neutral bus and to physically stabilize the PON device when installed. An electrical connector disposed at the neutral cooperation portion is configured to electrically connect to the neutral bus at an external end and to electrically connect to a conductive current path at its internal end. A lug assembly has one or more conductive terminal lugs, each terminal lug configured to receive current from an external neutral source via an aperture in the lug end of the housing and to electrically connect to the current path.
