    摘要: The invention relates to photochromic compounds of general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c is denote hydrogen; alkyl; aryl; OR, SR, COR or COOR, in which R denotes hydrogen, alkyl or aryl, amino of formula NR.sub.1 R.sub.2 in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 denote hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl or an aryl; a halogen atom; a mono- or polyhaloalkyl group; or an NO.sub.2, CN or SCN group; n and m denote integers from 1 to 5; p is equal to 1 or 2; and H is a 5-members aromatic heterocycle containing one or more heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, these heterocyclic nuclei being eventually substituted by one or more alkyl, alkoxy, amino, aryl or aralkyl groups or condensed with a phenyl nucleus, a substituted phenyl nucleus or a 6-members cycloaliphatic nucleus and to their use in ophtalmic optics.

    摘要: Described are novel reversible photochromic compounds of the homoazaadamantane spirooxazine family. Certain substituents are present on the nitrogen atom of the homoazaadamantane portion of the compound and on the benzene ring fused to the oxazine portion of the compound. These compounds may be represented by the following formula: Also described are compositions, e.g., solvent based mediums and polymerized organic materials, used to produce ophthalmic components, that contain the homoazaadamantane compounds with or without other photochromic compounds.

    摘要: A method for printing on an exposed polymerised thermoplastic or curable layer of the body of a portable data medium, and a portable data medium particularly a chip card, comprising a polymerised layer, are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of mixing a polymerisable thermoplastic or curable binder and at least one light-sensitive compound responsive to laser radiation having a predetermined wavelength in such a way that it changes from a first state to a second coloured state, in order to form a mixture, exposing the mixture to the laser radiation having a predetermined wavelength; and polymerising the mixture to form the polymerised layer of the body of the data medium. The method is particularly suitable for printing on smart cards.
