摘要： A hollow core door has a perimeter frame with stiles and top and bottom rails, and a pair of skins secured to the perimeter frame. One skin has an aperture therein with its side margins spaced inwardly of the perimeter frame, and inner frame elements are disposed between the margins of the aperture and the stiles, secured to at least one skin. A mirror with dimensions smaller than those of the aperture is secured in a molding which extends about its periphery of the mirror, and the molding has a peripheral portion overlying the skin about the side margins of the aperture and a body portion which extends inwardly of the door. The molding is secured against the skin.

摘要： An apparatus and method for mounting a plurality of display monitors is disclosed, wherein the apparatus is provided at a user's desk or workstation. The apparatus can be easily moved toward and away from the user such that all the monitors mounted on the apparatus move in unison in the direction indicated by the user. Accordingly, the apparatus accommodates the visual preferences of virtually all users of the desk or workstation so that eye and skeletal muscle fatigue are reduced.

摘要： A framed mirror includes a frame with a peripheral portion having front and rear faces and defining an opening extending therethrough. The peripheral portion of the frame has a recess in the rear surface thereof providing a shoulder extending about the opening. A mirror having front and rear surfaces is seated in the opening with the peripheral portion of its front surface disposed on the shoulder. Synthetic resin sheeting extends over the rear surface of the mirror and over at least a portion of the rear surface of the frame peripheral portion, and is adhesively bonded to the rear surfaces of the mirror and the frame to secure the mirror on the shoulder and to provide resistance to shattering of the mirror.

摘要： Apparatus for making a framed mirror includes a conveyor for moving a frame with the mirror seated therein to a film application and laminating station and a stop downstream of the laminating station. A cutter station serves the film applied from a roll supply. A control effects operation of the stop and stops unrolling of film from the roll supply. The framed mirror includes a frame with a peripheral portion having front and rear faces and defining an opening extending therethrough and a recess in the rear surface thereof providing a shoulder extending about the opening. The mirror having front and rear surfaces is seated on the shoulder. Synthetic resin sheeting extends over the rear surface of the mirror and over at least a portion of the rear surface of the frame peripheral portion, and is adhesively bonded to the rear surfaces of the mirror and the frame to secure the mirror on the shoulder and to provide resistance to shattering of the mirror.
