摘要： Vibration damper includes a cylinder filled with a damping medium in which a piston rod with a piston is guided in an axially movable manner, wherein the piston divides the cylinder into a work space on the piston rod side and a work space remote of the piston rod. A bypass connects at least one of the two work spaces with a first work chamber in a housing in which an axially movable separating piston separates the first work chamber from a second work chamber, the bypass being controlled by a switchable valve.

摘要： A damping valve for a vibration damper includes a guide sleeve which slides on the piston rod of a vibration damper. An annular damping valve body which is provided with at least one through-opening is fixed axially by positive engagement on the guide sleeve, and the through-opening is covered at least partly by at least one valve disk which is biased by at least one closing spring which is supported at its end at a spring plate connected to the guide sleeve. The damping valve body and a spring plate which is constructed separate from the guide sleeve form a compression chain between two axially spaced stops of the guide sleeve.

摘要： In a vibration damper for a motor vehicle a flow path connecting a working chamber of the cylinder with a damping behavior control unit is confined by a flow path tube surrounding the cylinder. The flow path tube is provided adjacent its axial end portions with bead-shaped grooves accommodating respective sealing rings. These sealing rings are according to an illustrated example of the invention in engagement with an external surface of the cylinder. The bead-shaped grooves are obtained by non-cutting machining.
