    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for performing synchronization among neighboring base stations in the wireless communication network. According to the technical solution of the present invention, a base station turns off a transmitter randomly to receive a synchronization signal from neighboring base stations, and obtains a new local synchronization reference time based on the synchronization reference time of other neighboring base station. With the apparatus and the method provided by the present invention, the strongly robust synchronization among base stations is realized.

    摘要: The present invention proposes a new method, a network device, and a terminal device of paging a terminal device in a communication system. The receiving a paging initiation present invention determines the paged object based on the group ID and/or the device ID of the paged terminal device, further, defines a specific paging occasion for the terminal device having group function; at the specific paging occasion paging message comprising the group ID and/or the device ID of the paged terminal device is sent; further, paging reason is inserted into the paging message; wherein the terminal device receives the paging message at the specific paging occasion defined by the system; and further reads the paging reason and responds accordingly to complete the paging procedure after the group ID and/or the device ID of its own is read. This paging mechanism of this invention solves the problem of paging determining a paging a group of terminal devices. It can meet the requirement of paging a specific or a group of terminal devices. The paging efficiency is thereby improved, and no negative impact on the paging of the current network terminal device is introduced.
