    摘要: A lever mechanism (10) suitably, amongst other uses, for use in the control of tractor draft links (22) from a location remote from the tractor operators station.The lever mechanism includes an operating member (40), a support (43) relative to which said operating member is displaceable (Z), a lever (42) pivotally mounted on the support about a pivot axis (44) which is also translationally moveable (X), a first formation (56) on the lever, a second formation (57) on the operating member, and bias means (53) acting to translationally move the lever on its axis (44) away from the second formation (57) to hold the first and second formations (56,57) disengaged when the lever is released. The operating member is displaceable in a given direction (Z) relative to the support (43) by translational movement (X) of the lever (42) on its moveable axis (44) against the bias (53) to bring the first and second formations (56,57) into engagement followed by pivotting (Y) of the lever relative to the support with the first and second formations engaged.When used to control tractor draft links the lever mechanism forms part of the draft link control system and is connected with the remainder of the system via operating member (40).

    摘要: An adjustable roof platform includes a panel having a top surface and a bottom surface. A peripheral wall is attached to and extends downward from the bottom surface of the panel. A front elongated member, a rear elongated member, a first side elongated member and second side elongated member are coupled together to define a frame base. The rear elongated member is hingedly coupled to the peripheral wall such that a bottom edge of the peripheral wall may be selectively positioned abutted against or positioned away from the first side, second side and front elongated members. A pair of supports selectively supports the panel in an angular relationship with respect to the frame base. A plurality of foot members is attached to a lower surface of the frame base. Each of the foot members comprises a non-skid material.

    摘要: A vehicle cab with a roof hatch (12) which comprises front and rear hatch sections (14) and (16), the rear section (14) being over an escape hatchway (26) and the front section (16) being over an equipment access hatchway (28) of a roof compartment. The front hatch section (16) is mounted on a front roof section (10a) along its forward edge by hinges (18), and releasably latched to a middle roof section (10c) along its rearward edge by secondary latches (22). The rear hatch section (14) is mounted on the rearward edge of the front hatch section (16) by hinges (20), and releasably latched to the rear roof section (10b) by a primary latch (40). The primary catch (40) may be released and the rear hatch section (14) may be partially opened and retained with rear stays (64) to provide ventilation. The rear stays (64) may then be automatically released when the rear hatch section (14) is pushed past the retention point to fully open the escape hatchway (26). The secondary catches (22) may then be released and the front hatch section (16) opened and supported by front stays (78), to provide access to the roof compartment through the equipment access hatchway (28).

    摘要: An hydraulic unloading valve for unloading hydraulic fluid from a circuit pressurized by a diesel engine powered pump under cold climate conditions to assist starting of the engine. The valve has an inlet through which fluid enters the valve, an outlet through which fluid may leave the valve, an outlet valve seat, a valve member movable towards and away from the valve seat and carrying a valve surface for closing off the seat valve, a first orifice sensitive to viscosity which in response to the flow of fluid through the inlet generates a first pressure drop arranged to tend to move the valve member away from the valve seat, and second orifice which is not sensitive to viscosity and which in response to said flow generates a second pressure drop arranged to tend to move the valve towards the valve seat to bring the valve seat and surface into contact to close-off through the valve outlet when the second pressure drop is greater than the first pressure drop. The pressure drop characteristics of the two orifices can be arranged so that at lower fluid temperatures of say below -10 degrees C. the valve is held open up to higher fluid flow rates, thus relieving load on the engine and assisting cold starting.
