摘要: A track lighting system which uses a lighting truss which separates the support function from the electrical connection function is provided. A lighting truss is shown which consists of a longitudinally extending base portion having at least an upstanding flange projecting from one side, and an upstanding wall projecting from the other side. A piece of lighting track is mounted on the vertical wall portion, and a beam clamp fastens a luminaire to the longitudinally extending base portion. The upstanding flange will prevent the luminaire from falling off should it loosen in use.

摘要: An assembleable lighting system is provided which may include a power transfer means connected to a fixture mounting pendant or pole. At least one node of power input to the power transfer means is provided. Mounted to the power transfer means is a fixed or adjustable mounting bar or beam construction. A retaining ring is adjustably movable along the mounting bar or beam member. One or more of said retaining rings, mounted to the mounting bar, are able to retain accessories for the lighting system. A low voltage transformer means is provided which is easily mountable to the beam member when it is necessary to convert the lighting system to a low voltage application.

摘要: Intelligent synchronization of media or other material output from multiple media devices is contemplated. The intelligence synchronization may include instructing the media devices to coordinate playback in concert with a conductor whereby the conductor acts a focal point or reference for the non-conducting media devices. The non-conductor may transmit sync messaging having data or other information sufficient to facilitate coordinating operation of the non-conductors in a manner sufficient to synchronize output of the media.

摘要: An intelligent light fixture is shown which allows for hands-free or automatic control of any desired combination of the color of the lighting beam, the focus position of the lighting beam, the movement of the lighting beam and projection of patterns created by the lighting beam. The intelligent light fixture is configured and mounted in such a way that all of the above can be accomplished from a single mounting position on top, or of within, the structure that holds the intelligent light fixture. The intelligent light fixture may be contained within a housing and said housing maybe mounted to a light pole.

摘要: A color changing light fixture is provided for producing indirect self-illuminating effects within the fixture, which comprises a housing or reflector having an indirect light source and, optionally, a primary light source mounted within. The fixture's self-illuminating effects are conducive to adding to the design scheme of a room or an area being lighted. The fixture may be recessed, surface mounted, suspended, or wall mounted. The indirect light source, which is powered by a low voltage power source, includes one or more light emitting diode (LED) strips that may be fixed or adjustable, and includes the capability of being completely or partially concealed within the fixture. The LEDs can provide a plurality of visible colors (including white), which can be mixed by any number of control devices, like music and video mixers, and door opening and occupancy sensors.

摘要: An adjustable lighting fixture has a power transfer means interposed between a lamp holder and the point of mounting. The power transfer means has an input shaft, which may be offset from the point of mounting, such as a fixture mounting pole, or in line therewith, and an output shaft which rotates in response to the rotation of the input shaft about its own axis. When the axis of power input is in line with the point of mounting, a physical rotation of the power transfer means will cause the rotation of the lamp holder about an axis extending through the point of mounting. When the axis of power input is offset from the point of mounting, an orbital input about the axis of the power input, or in other words an orbiting of the power input shaft about the axis extending through the point of mounting, will cause rotation of the lamp holder about said axis extending through the point of mounting. In a modification of the invention, a recessed adjustable lighting fixture is provided where an offset power transfer means is connected to a housing for rotation. The offset power transfer means has a single axis or node of power input to produce rotation of the lamp holder about two axes of rotation.

摘要: A lighting fixture which includes, in combination, a housing for a fluorescent lamp, and a lighting track for supporting a track fixture. The track is attached to and supported by the housing of the fluorescent fixture and extends along a sidewall of the housing to present an appearance which is aesthetically pleasing. Optionally, two lighting tracks may be used, one extending along each of opposed sidewalls of the housing. The invention provides the option of using track lighting, including spotlighting, which may be oriented and directed to augment and to enhance more general illumination provided by the fluorescent lamps. The fluorescent lamp and the incandescent track light are fed by a single power supply.
