摘要： An electrical connector housing with a latch structure is provided. The latch is releasably engageable with corresponding structure on a mateable electrical connector housing. The latch structure resiliently and deflectably extends from the electrical connector housing. At least one rib extends from the surface of the electrical connector housing adjacent the deflectable end of the latch structure to prevent fishhooking of cables or the like into the space between the latch structure and the housing. The rib for preventing such fishhooking is further engageable with the latch structure to prevent overstress. Side walls disposed in spaced relationship to the latch structure may further prevent overstress and fishhooking.

摘要： A programmable connector module is equipped with a molded plastic base on which an IC chip is mounted. The plastic base is wired with programmable inputs which can be used to provide a logic 1 or a logic 0 to each input of the IC chip. Tabs or punch holes located on the plastic base can be broken to disconnect an input circuit from ground to allow a logic 1 to be programmed. Two inputs are used to program the configuration of the module and four inputs are used to program the address of the module. The programmable module can be positioned anywhere along a multiplex wire bus and is equipped with connectors for transmitting and receiving data to and from electrical loads along the bus.

摘要： A frame assembly for affording mechanical support and for carrying electrical conduction paths for connection to circuitry of a machine. The frame assembly includes members comprising pultrusions having an insulating body and reinforcing fibers within the insulating body, and has grooves in surface portions along an elongated dimension with conductors in the grooves. The conductors provide electrical conduction paths that are connectable to circuitry of the machine. The pultrusion may be a thermal setting polymer, for example, selected from the group consisting essentially of polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxies, and may be reinforced with fiberglass. The frame member can also have a hollow interior portion within which conductors are arranged to conduct AC power to the circuitry of the machine, and the conductors on the exterior surface of the frame member can be arranged to conduct IIOC bus signals. When a plurality of the frame members are connected together to form a frame assembly, corresponding conductors of each are interconnected to facilitate supplying and directing the electrical signals to the machine. The connections can be made to and among the electrical conductors carried by the pultrusions by blocks that are attachable to the pultrusions.

摘要： An apparatus for effecting electrical connection between the main machine and a module containing the apparatus for advancing a sheet through the transfer zone and to registration for information developed on the photoreceptor belt. The connector on the main machine is mounted to permit engagement with a complementary connector on the module, but provide for movement when the module is raised slightly to contact the photoreceptor module. The apparatus minimizes which otherwise would inhibit this upward movement and detract from proper operation of the machine and the quality of the copy produced.

摘要： An electronic component is disclosed wherein the electronic component includes an insulation displacement connector for electrically connecting the electronic component to at least one external wire by displacing insulation from and contacting a conductor of the external wire. The insulation displacement connector can include a plurality of contacts electrically connected to the electronic component at one end thereof, and structure for displacing insulation from an external wire so that the external wire is placed in electrical communication with the conductive contact member at another end thereof. By locating the plurality of contact members closely adjacent each other, the insulation displacement connector can be engaged with a ribbon cable having a plurality of external wires, so that each contact is selectively engaged with an individual external wire in the ribbon cable. A cover can be provided which is removably engageable over the ribbon cable to lock the ribbon cable to the insulation displacement connector with the external wires of the ribbon cable electrically connected to the insulation displacement connector. Attachment structure can be provided on, for example, a lower surface of a hollow body to which the electronic component is mounted, for attaching the hollow body, and thus the electrical component, to any surface.
