    摘要: A solution casting apparatus includes a drive roller as a conveying means. The drive roller conveys a polymer film peeled from a belt, the polymer film still containing a solvent. The drive roller has corrugation valleys and corrugation peaks formed on a peripheral surface along a circumferential direction of the drive roller. Each of the corrugation valleys and the corrugation peaks has a substantially semicircular cross section. The corrugation valleys and the corrugation peaks are disposed alternately in an axial direction of the drive roller. A pitch Pv between the corrugation valleys and a pitch Pm between the corrugation peaks are in the range of 0.01 to 2 mm, and a height Hv-m from a lowest point of the corrugation valley to a highest point of the corrugation peak is in the range of 0.01 to 1 mm. A curvature radius Rv of the corrugation valley and a curvature radius Rm of the corrugation peak are in the range of 0.1 to 0.5 mm.

    摘要: A coating device for coating a coating solution on a web has a roller and a weir which partially constructs a solution store space. In the solution store space the coating solution is stored. When the web sequentially moves in a direction, the roller rotates and the solution in the solution store space is supplied on the web. Thereby a part of the solution overflows the weir such that another part of the solution may remain on the web to have a constant width in a widthwise direction of the web. A drying device has plural drying zones in which the web is fed after the coating of the coating solution. One of the drying zones is neighbored to the coating device. A top of the plural drying zones is constructed of a blow regulation member so as to confront to the solution on the web. The blow regulation member has holes through which is exhausted a gas evaporated from the layer of the solution on the web.

    摘要: A web conveying apparatus is provided with a plurality of web guiding rollers. The web guiding rollers convey a web on which a functional material has just been coated in a coating section. Concave portions and convex portions that have a substantially semicircular cross section are alternately formed on a peripheral surface along a circumferential direction of each roller. A pitch Pv of the concave portions and a pitch Pm of the convex portions are in the range of 0.01 mm or more and 2 mm or less. A height Hv-m from a lowest point of the concave portion to a highest point of the convex portion is in the range of 0.01 mm or more and 1 mm or less. A curvature radius Rv of the concave portion and a curvature radius Rm of the convex portion are in the range of 0.1 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less.

    摘要: In a web transporting apparatus that transports a web while floating the web by jetting air from jetting holes formed in a transporting surface to the web, edge rollers that is rotatable and supports edges of the web are provided at both ends of the transporting surface. The web is transported while the edges of the web are supported by the edge rollers, and thus a floating amount of the web can be kept. Also, the supplied air can be prevented from escaping from a space between the transporting surface and the web through the edges of the web, and the web can be stably floated and transported with little air.

Positions of the first and second drive shafts are changeable in the web winder. A changeover device changes over winding of a web wound about the first spindle to winding about the second spindle. A cutting drum is disposed on a first side with respect to a web path of the web, and has a cutter for cutting the web in a width direction thereof. A receiving drum is disposed on a second side with respect to the web path opposite to the first side. A drum support arm supports the cutting and receiving drums in a rotatable manner and in a manner of contacting drum peripheral surfaces of the cutting and receiving drums on each other.

The peripheral surface includes edge contact areas and a merchandise portion contact area. The edge contact areas make contact with edges in a width direction of the web. Each edge contact area has projections and recesses that have an arcuate cross section, and extend in the peripheral direction of the roller body. The projections and the recesses are arranged alternately in an axial direction. The projections are spaced at intervals from 0.01 mm to 2 mm. A height from a bottom of the recess to an apex of the projection is from 0.01 mm to 1 mm. The apex has a curvature radius in a range from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm.

    摘要: A method for matching and splicing webs that splices, by use of splicing tape, a rear end of a strip-shaped flexible backing that is drawn and conveyed from an old roll and a front end of a strip-shaped flexible backing that is drawn and conveyed from a new roll, in a state in which the front end and the rear end are matched, wherein the method performs matching and splicing by executing: a preparation step of performing matching and splicing preparations by retaining a front end of a strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll with one of a pair of cutting drums, and supplying splicing tape to a pair of splicing drums, respectively; a cutting step of cutting with the pair of cutting drums a strip-shaped flexible backing of the old roll and a strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll in an overlapping state after the preparation step; a feeding step of feeding to a splicing position a rear end of the strip-shaped flexible backing of the old roll and a front end of the strip-shaped flexible backing of the new roll that are cut in the cutting step, as they are in a matched state; and a splicing step of using the pair of splicing drums to adhere and attach splicing tape to each of a front surface side and a rear surface side of a matching portion that is fed to a splicing position in the feeding step; wherein, in the preparation step, at least one of the pair of splicing drums is driven independently, and in the cutting step, the feeding step and the splicing step, the one of the pair of splicing drums is driven in synchrony with other drums.
