Abstract: Method for manufacturing a CMC, i.e. ceramic matrix composite material, part provided with at least one cutout, as well as to such a CMC part provided with at least one cutout, the method comprising the following steps: providing (E1) a fibrous reinforcement (10), forming (E2′) a cavity in a portion of the fibrous reinforcement (10), injecting (E3) a slip comprising at least a ceramic powder and a solvent, the slip being injected so as to impregnate the fibrous reinforcement (10′) and to fill the cavity of the fibrous reinforcement (10′), drying (E4) the obtained assembly, carrying out a densification (E6) by infiltration of a liquid densification material and solidification of said densification material, machining (E7) at least one cutout in the obtained blank (30) within the volume corresponding to the cavity of the fibrous reinforcement (10).

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a part made of composite material includes injecting into a fibrous texture a slurry including at least one powder of refractory ceramic particles suspended in a liquid phase, filtering the liquid phase of the slurry and retaining the powder of refractory ceramic particles inside the texture so as to obtain a fibrous preform loaded with refractory ceramic particles, densifying the fibrous texture by treatment of the refractory ceramic particles present in the fibrous texture in order to form a refractory matrix in the texture. The method further includes, before injecting the slurry under pressure, pre-saturating the fibrous texture with a carrier fluid consisting in injecting into said texture a carrier fluid.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a part made of ceramic matrix composite (CMC) material includes producing a fibrous preform from silicon carbide fibres; consolidating the fibrous preform by gas-phase chemical infiltration; injecting a slurry including a silicon carbide particle powder into the consolidated fibrous preform; and densifying by infiltrating the preform with a composition based on molten silicon to give a part made of CMC material. The slurry further includes at least one organic binder. The method includes, prior to the infiltrating of the preform with a composition based on molten silicon, pyrolysing the organic binder so as to form a carbon-containing residue in the fibrous preform.
