    摘要： A method and apparatus for treating textiles and textile materials prior to dyeing said textiles or textile materials includes the steps of loading a textile substrate into a vessel and saturating the textile substrate therein with pre-treatment chemicals. The impregnated textile substrate and excess process solution are transferred into a hydraulic press having a flexible bladder. The press squeezes the textile substrate uniformly to remove the excess solution which is captured and recycled for reuse. The squeezed, impregnated textile substrate is stored in airtight containers to allow dyesite formation. The textile substrate is then neutralized, washed, and dried and as thus pre-treated can be dyed in an ecologically sustainable, energy-efficient, and economical process. The method and apparatus ensure uniform moisture pick-up and distribution of the chemical(s) throughout the textile substrate.

    摘要： Ink jet printer system for printing an image on a web overlaying a removable substrate and method of assembling the printer. The ink jet printer system comprises an ink jet print head for jetting ink onto the web to form an image on the web. A feeder mechanism is coupled to the print head for feeding the web and substrate past the print head during printing. A first roller is aligned with the feeder mechanism and is adapted to engage the substrate for removing the substrate from the web. A second roller is aligned with the first roller, the second roller being adapted to layer a covering onto the printed image as the first roller removes the substrate from the web. A third roller is aligned with the second roller for supplying the covering to the second roller. In this manner, a layered web is defined. Moreover, a steaming core is provided to bundle-up the layered web, so that a steaming roll is defined thereby. A steam generator receives the steaming roll and generates steam for fixing the ink to the layered web that belongs to the steaming roll. The covering is removed from the layered web to define a bare web. Further, a washer is disposed to wash the bare web for removing unfixed ink from the bare web. Also, a hot-air blower directs heated air onto the bare web for drying the bare web. A take-up reel may also be provided to engage the bare web and wrap the bare web thereabout for packaging the bare web for shipment.

    摘要： There is described herein an improved method for decatizing in an autoclave wherein steam is led into the jacket surrounding said autoclave, at a pressure level increasing up to a stationary level within the autoclave. That is obtained by means of an automatically and adjustably controlled throttling valve at the steam inlet to the jacket, the valve being for instance driven by means of a microprocessor routine, and having an autoclave inlet valve associated therewith. In case the outer jacket is missing there might possibly be provided only an automatically controlled autoclave inlet valve performing also as a throttling valve, in order to have a gradually increasing inlet pressure.

    摘要： An apparatus for the treatment of materials has a series of beams connected end to end and supported concentrically within a cylindrical vessel, the materials to be treated being wound on the individual beams. The vessel has an inlet at its one end for introduction of treatment liquid, a plurality of first outlets at its bottom for discharging a portion of the treatment liquid out of the vessel, and at least one second outlet at its top for discharging the remaining treatment liquid out of the vessel. Each first outlet is located centrally of one of the beams, and the second outlet is radially aligned with a joint between an adjacent pair of the beams. A pressure-control tank is disposed above the vessel and extends substantially through the length thereof. The tank is connected to the vessel by a plurality of connection pipes for liquid communication therebetween, the connection pipes being spaced apart from one another substantially at regular distances along the vessel. At least one of the connection pipes is radially aligned with the second outlet that is radially aligned with a joint between an adajcent pair of the beams.

    摘要： Ink jet printer system for printing an image on a web overlaying a removable substrate and method of assembling the printer. The ink jet printer system comprises an ink jet print head for jetting ink onto the web to form an image on the web. A steam generator receives the steaming roll and generates steam for fixing the ink to the layered web that belongs to the steaming roll. The covering is removed from the layered web to define a bare web. Further, a washer is disposed to wash the bare web for removing unfixed ink from the bare web. Also, a hot-air blower directs heated air onto the bare web for drying the bare web. A take-up reel may also be provided to engage the bare web and wrap the bare web thereabout for packaging the bare web for shipment.

    摘要： A perforated beam apparatus is disclosed for dyeing or otherwise treating fabric materials, the apparatus comprising a horizontally disposed treatment vessel and a perforated cylindrical beam mounted concentrically in the vessel, and adapted to wind thereon layers of cloth, tapes, yarns and the like. There are established a main suction stream and a sub-suction stream of treating liquor, both streams flowing from a treatment chamber and merging into a heat exchange chamber. A pressure reserve tank is mounted above the treatment vessel for regulating the pressure therein and taking up air bubbles entrained with the flow of treatment liquor.
