Abstract: A spacer for insulating glazing units with a polymeric main body composed of a first pane contact surface and a second pane contact surface running parallel thereto, a first glazing interior surface, a second glazing interior surface, an outer surface, a first hollow chamber, and a second hollow chamber, is realized with a groove to accommodate a pane runs parallel to the first pane contact surface and second pane contact surface between the first glazing interior surface and the second glazing interior surface, the first hollow chamber being adjacent the first glazing interior surface and the second hollow chamber being adjacent the second glazing interior surface, where the lateral flanks of the groove are formed by the walls of the first hollow chamber and the second hollow chamber, and a gas-permeable insert is contained in the groove or at least two inserts are mounted at a distance of at least 1 mm from one another.

Abstract: A method and a device for filling a spacer frame with a filler for producing an insulating glazing unit and a spacer frame produced in accordance with the method is disclosed. A fill time of the spacer frame for filling to a fill level of 100% is calculated and the spacer frame is inserted into a filling device with scales and a frame holder. The spacer frame is suspended in suspension devices, the spacer frame is filled for the calculated fill time, and the spacer frame is weighed, and the fill level is determined. If the fill level is larger than 90%, then the filling of the spacer frame is terminated.

Abstract: A corner connector for connecting two hollow-profile strips of an insulating glazing unit is presented. The corner connector includes a first plug-in leg, a second plug-in leg, a corner region, and a capillary tube with a first opening and a second opening. According to one aspect, the corner region connects the second plug-in leg to the first plug-in leg so to form angle between 45° and 180° between the two plug-in legs. According to another aspect, the first plug-in leg, the second plug-in leg, and the corner region are injection molded, and the capillary tube is integrally molded into the corner region. When installed, the capillary tube establishes a connection between the inner interpane space and corresponding surroundings of the insulating glazing unit.

Abstract: A corner connector for hollow-profile spacers of insulating glazing units is presented. The corner connector includes first and second legs, connected via a corner region, that include respective leg inner sides, leg outer sides, end faces, and a plurality of side faces. According to one aspect, the leg inner sides, the leg outer sides, and/or the side faces include at least one retaining element; the leg inner sides provide respective inner bearing faces having: inner regions adjacent the corner region, and outer regions adjacent the inner regions and the end faces. The inner bearing face of at least one of the leg inner sides has, in its inner region, a positive gradient starting from the corner region in the direction of its end face.

Lateral flanks of the groove are formed by walls of the first and second hollow chambers.
