Abstract: A polymeric vehicle window is described, having a composite component with an inner opaque polymeric layer and an outer transparent polymeric layer, wherein the inner opaque polymeric layer and the outer transparent polymeric layer are connected in a planar manner. The inner opaque polymeric layer has at least one at least partially piercing hole, an LED assembly, with an LED, a printed circuit board, and electrical contacts arranged in the hole. The LED assembly is placed in such a way that the LED is in the direction of the outer transparent assembly.
