Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment includes: a display, a communication interface comprising communication circuitry configured to communicate with at least one of a first control device including a first key and a second control device including the first key, and at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, configured to execute at least one instruction to cause the display device to: receive a first control signal corresponding to the first key, perform a first operation to output a first full screen by executing the first control signal based on the first control signal being received from the first control device while first content is being played, and perform a second operation different from the first operation to output a second full screen different from the first full screen based on the first control signal being received from the second control device while the first content is being played.

Abstract: Provided are a display apparatus and/or an operating method thereof. The display apparatus may include: a display; a memory storing one or more instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory to identify a device controller activated on the display apparatus and a device activated on the display apparatus, determine whether the identified device controller is compatible with the identified device, control, when it is determined that the identified device controller is compatible with the identified device, a control signal from the device controller to be directly provided to the device, and convert, when it is determined that the identified device controller is incompatible with the identified device, the control signal from the device controller into a control signal recognizable by the device, and control the converted control signal to be provided to the device.

Abstract: A method for displaying operation information of a gamepad by an electronic device is provided. The method includes: obtaining gamepad manufacturer information of the gamepad connected to the electronic device; obtaining game provider information from a cloud server, which is providing, through a network, a game operating on the electronic device; based on identifying that the gamepad manufacturer information is not associated with the game provider information, controlling to display a guide screen on a display based on the gamepad manufacturer information, and guiding, using the guide screen, game operations associated with key inputs of the gamepad.
