    Abstract: Embodiments described herein enable remote control of a mobile device. A representation of a screen displayed on a mobile device is obtained by an emulating device. The emulating device transmits the representation of the screen to a first computing device. The emulating device receives, from the first computing device, a control command comprising instructions to perform an action with respect to the mobile device. The emulating device converts the control command to an input command based on an input device emulated by the emulating device. The emulating device transmits the input command to the mobile device. In a further aspect, control of the mobile device by external devices is restricted to input devices capable of interfacing with an accessibility interface of the mobile device to provide input user interface commands. In this further aspect, the emulating device interfaced with the accessibility interface.

    Abstract: A game controller for a mobile device, the game controller including a first handle, a second handle, a bridge, and a flat, flexible cable. The first handle is configured to contact and support a mobile device. The first handle includes a user-accessible, first hardware interface on a main body portion of the first handle that is configured to accept touch inputs. The second handle is configured to contact and support the mobile device. The second handle includes a user-accessible, second hardware interface on a main body portion of the second handle that is configured to accept touch inputs. The bridge couples the first handle to the second handle. The bridge is in sliding engagement with the first handle and the second handle. The flat, flexible cable is configured to conduct an electrical signal between the first handle and the second handle.

    Abstract: A network system, method, and computer program product support automatically distributing virtual gamepads customized based on frequency of use of particular controls for a game. The network system connects, via a communication subsystem of a network system, to a communication network. The network system stores, in network memory, customized versions of the first virtual gamepad configuration including a second virtual gamepad configuration having modified virtual controls that are adjusted in size relative and/or spatially repositioned based on frequency of use of the virtual controls during detected interactions with the game application by user device(s).     Abstract: Docking platforms formed in one of the largest-surface-area surfaces of mobile electronic devices. Such a docking platform may comprise a docking accessory cavity having a docking connection system comprising one or more docking connectors formed within the cavity, and optionally two or more electrical contacts within the cavity, the contacts electrically connected to electronics within the electronic device and constructed and arranged to allow electrical connection to detachable docking accessories. The docking connection system is operable to form detachable attachments to multiple independent docking accessories simultaneously. The cavities of the docking platforms are shaped to accommodate a broad range of docking accessories that are specially adapted to sit in a generally flush manner with the back surface of the mobile electronic device while attached to the docking connectors. One type of accessory forms an assembly with an expandable accordion attached to the docking platform.
