Abstract: A game device includes a storage unit and a control unit configured to execute a game program. The control unit acquires biological information indicating physical feature of a user operating the game device, computes a biological parameter of the user based on the biological information, and stores the biological parameter in the storage unit. The control unit then computes, in accordance with the biological parameter stored in the storage unit, a property parameter that determines a property of a character generated by the game program.

Abstract: A network system, method, and computer program product support automatically distributing virtual gamepads customized based on frequency of use of particular controls for a game. The network system connects, via a communication subsystem of a network system, to a communication network. The network system associates a game application with a first virtual gamepad configuration including virtual controls. The network system stores, in network memory, customized versions of the first virtual gamepad configuration including a second virtual gamepad configuration having modified virtual controls that are adjusted in size relative and/or spatially repositioned based on frequency of use of the virtual controls during detected interactions with the game application by user device(s). The network system transmits the first and/or the second virtual gamepad configurations to an electronic device for presenting on a touch screen display while executing the game application and presenting a game screen on an external display.

Abstract: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, an apparatus having a processor to detect a gaming accessory stimulation associated with a programmable layer of a number of programmable layers. The processor identifies a substitute gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer of the number of programmable layers of the gaming accessory. The substitute gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer is associated with the gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer of the number of programmable layers, according to a user profile of a number of user profiles associated with a user account. Other predetermined associations of stimulations of the gaming accessory with other substitute accessory stimulations are recorded in other user profiles of the number of user profiles, and the substitute gaming accessory stimulation is provided to a computing device to manage a gaming software application. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Docking platforms formed in one of the largest-surface-area surfaces of mobile electronic devices. Such a docking platform may comprise a docking accessory cavity having a docking connection system comprising one or more docking connectors formed within the cavity, and optionally two or more electrical contacts within the cavity, the contacts electrically connected to electronics within the electronic device and constructed and arranged to allow electrical connection to detachable docking accessories. The docking connection system is operable to form detachable attachments to multiple independent docking accessories simultaneously. The cavities of the docking platforms are shaped to accommodate a broad range of docking accessories that are specially adapted to sit in a generally flush manner with the back surface of the mobile electronic device while attached to the docking connectors. One type of accessory forms an assembly with an expandable accordion attached to the docking platform.

Abstract: The application provides a game controller and a game console.
