    Abstract: Present embodiments relate to a riser bolt torque device that is configured to couple a first riser joint to a second riser joint to form a riser of a subsea drilling system. The riser bolt torque device includes a first arm and a second arm, multiple torque tools supported on the first arm and the second arm, and one or more actuators configured to drive the first arm and the second arm to pivot relative to one another from an open configuration to a closed configuration to enable alignment between the multiple torque tools and a flange of the first riser joint.

    Abstract: A system includes a drilling fluid flow path configured to be selectively utilized with a well control drilling technique during a first drilling operation and a managed pressure drilling (MPD) technique during a second drilling operation. The system includes a first manifold assembly coupled to the drilling fluid flow path, wherein the first manifold assembly includes a drilling choke configured to be utilized with the well control drilling technique and coupled to a set of lines coupled to a blowout preventer coupled to a wellhead. The system includes a second manifold assembly coupled to the drilling fluid flow path, wherein the first manifold assembly includes a MPD choke configured to be utilized with the MPD technique. The system includes a set of lines coupled to one or more components of a wellhead assembly, wherein both the drilling choke and the MPD choke are coupled to the set of lines.

    Abstract: A rotating control device (RCD) system includes a housing having a bore, a seal element positioned within the housing, a piston assembly supported within the housing and configured to drive the seal element to seal the bore, and a bearing assembly supported within the housing and configured to enable the seal element to rotate relative to the housing. The bearing assembly includes a first bearing section positioned between the housing and the seal element and a second bearing section positioned between a piston of the piston assembly and the seal element. The piston assembly is configured to selectively actuate the seal element into a first configuration, where the seal element extends into the bore and seals with a tubular therein, and a second configuration, where the seal element extends entirely through the bore and seals the bore without a tubular extending therein.

    Abstract: A riser fluid handling system for managed pressure drilling includes a tubular portion having a lower end configured to be connected to a riser and an upper end, a spool connected to the upper end of the tubular portion, the spool having a base and a fluid conduit extending radially outward from the base and defining an axially-facing orifice. The fluid conduit is configured to provide fluid communication between the orifice and an interior of the spool. The system includes a valve connected to the fluid conduit and extending parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the tubular portion, the valve being configured to connect to a drape hose such that the drape hose extends axially therefrom and is able to swivel with respect to the spool.
