Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and compositions for introducing diversion agents into a subterranean formation traversed by a wellbore with a heat transfer surface, including forming a first fluid comprising a diversion agent, introducing the first fluid into a region of the formation wherein the heat transfer surface is higher than if no agent were present, and introducing a second fluid for collecting heat from the formation. A method, apparatus, system, and compositions for introducing diversion agents into a subterranean formation traversed by a wellbore with a heat transfer surface, including forming a first fluid comprising a diversion agent, introducing the first fluid into a region of the formation wherein the formation is at least 350° F. and wherein the agent maintains its mechanical integrity at least 2 hours, and introducing a second fluid to the formation.

Abstract: A sand screen apparatus for use in a downhole operation for hydrocarbon recovery includes a non-metallic material and a mechanical retainer. The non-metallic material has a compressed state and an expanded state, and includes a base polymer, and one or a plurality of smart fillers dispersed with a polymeric matrix of the non-metallic material. The mechanical retainer compresses the non-metallic material in the compressed state. The one or the plurality of smart fillers react with the base polymer in the expanded state after exposure to a wellbore condition.

Abstract: A method of reducing corrosion within a wellbore includes placing a wireline including a perforating gun in a wellbore, the wellbore extending through an earth formation and including a casing extending through the earth formation, the wireline including zinc, discharging the perforating gun to form perforations through the casing and in the earth formation surrounding the casing proximate the at least one perforating gun, flowing a fracturing fluid including one or more proppants through the perforations and into the earth formation to open fractures in the earth formation with the one or more proppants, introducing a flushing fluid into the wellbore to displace the fracturing fluid, and flowing a corrosion inhibitor composition into the wellbore and through the perforations with at least one of the fracturing fluid and the flushing fluid. The corrosion inhibitor includes an alkenylphenone, and a substituted 1-azanapthalene. Related methods of inhibiting corrosion are also disclosed.
