There is provided a sheet manufacturing apparatus including: an accumulation section that accumulates a material containing fibers by an air flow to form a web; a humidification section that applies moisture from one surface side of the web; and a pressurization section that pressurizes the humidified web to form a sheet, in which the pressurization section includes a first roller that comes into contact with one surface of the web and a second roller that comes into contact with the other surface of the web, and a surface of the first roller is harder than a surface of the second roller.

A sheet producing method includes a web forming step of forming a web by accumulating fiber in a dry system, a water providing step of providing the web with water, and a compression-heating step of compressing and simultaneously externally heating the web provided with water, wherein a water content of the web provided with water in the water providing step is 12% by mass or more, and a compression degree of the web between before and after the compression-heating step is 1/7 or less.

A recording apparatus includes a plurality of line heads that discharge light curable inks onto a recording target material, a plurality of first light irradiators that are located at downstream side of transportation direction relative to the respective line heads in the transportation direction and emit light to the recording target material, a drum that is located at the downstream side relative to the first light irradiators in the transportation direction and forms a part of the transportation path, and a second light irradiator that is located opposite to a portion of the drum with which the transported recording target material makes contact and emits light to the contact portion. In the recording apparatus, the first light irradiators emit light for provisionally curing the discharged light curable inks, and the second light irradiator emits light for permanently curing the light curable inks, which have been provisionally cured, on the drum.

The head unit is provided with a first head that includes a nozzle capable of ejecting ink, a second head that includes a nozzle capable of ejecting ink, and a third head that includes a nozzle capable of ejecting ink, with the heads provided around a rotation direction of the head unit with gaps between one another. When one head out of the respective heads faces the paper P, another head out of the respective heads can be made to face the head cooling unit.

The recording mechanism is configured to record by reciprocatingly scanning a recording head in a direction that intersects with the conveyance direction. The rotational mechanism is configured to take up the recording medium. The control unit is configured to control the conveyance mechanism and the rotational mechanism to substantially synchronize conveying of the recording medium by the conveyance mechanism and taking-up of the recording medium by the rotational mechanism.
