    Abstract: A suspension device includes a pair of suspensions each containing at least one of a damping mechanism and a suspension spring. A tubular body-side member is on a vehicle body side. A tubular wheel-side member is on a vehicle wheel side and coupled to the body-side member, and moves relative to the body-side member in an axial direction. A hollow cylindrical cylinder is inside of the body-side member and the wheel-side member and includes a weak portion in the axial direction on an outer side. A rod member is inside of the body-side member and the wheel-side member and moves relatively in the axial direction in accordance with movement of the body-side member and the wheel-side member. A first defining member secured to an end portion of the rod member and in contact with the cylinder movably in the axial direction of the cylinder defines space in the cylinder.

    Abstract: A hydraulic shock absorber provides, a ring-shaped flow passage formed continuously along a circumferential direction between an outer circumference of a partition wall member and an inner circumference of an inner tube, in a range from an abutting surface to a screw coupling starting portion of a thread section of the inner tube; an outer side flow passage which is formed to a ring-shaped oil chamber side from a dividing member positioned on an open end surface side of the inner tube and which connects a ring-shaped oil chamber and the ring-shaped flow passage, an inner side flow passage which is formed in the partition wall member and which connects the ring-shaped flow passage and an oil reservoir chamber.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to ensure that, during adjustment of a spring load by an adjuster, total fully-stretched lengths of an outer tube and an inner tube remain unchanged and the adjuster is prevented from protruding from an upper surface of a cap. In a hydraulic shock absorber 10, a spring load adjusting device 30 is configured such that an adjuster 31 is provided at an upper end portion of a vehicle body side tube 11, a push rod 33 that is moved up and down by the adjuster 31 is penetrated into a hollow portion of a hollow rod 23, a suspension spring 35 is pressurized by the push rod 33 that protrudes from the hollow portion of the hollow rod 23 to the inside of a wheel side tube 12, and the spring load of the suspension spring 35 can be adjusted by the up-and-down motion of the push rod 33 caused by the adjuster 31.
