Abstract: A front fork leg includes an inner chamber that absorbs by a gas spring a shock caused on a vehicle; an auxiliary gas spring chamber communicating with the inner chamber; an auxiliary piston provided in the auxiliary gas spring chamber; and a gas spring chamber side gas chamber sectioned by the auxiliary piston and communicating with the inner chamber, and the auxiliary piston moves to increase a volume of the gas spring chamber side gas chamber, as pressure inside the inner chamber increases.

Abstract: An air spring structure has a first communication hole formed in a peripheral surface of a cylinder and a second communication hole formed in the peripheral surface at a position closer to an axle than the first communication hole. A piston has a sliding portion that comes into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder and partitions the cylinder into an inner chamber and a balance chamber. The sliding portion has an axial length shorter than an axial length between the first communication hole and the second communication hole. A communication member has a communication path formed so as to pass through the first communication hole and the second communication hole to allow the inner chamber and the balance chamber to communicate with each other.

Abstract: A suspension includes: a cylinder; a piston rod including a piston provided at one end-side, and inserted in the cylinder together with the piston; an outer tube part opened at the one end-side, a position of which relative to the piston rod is fixed at the other end-side, and configured to receive therein at least a part of the cylinder; and a tubular rolling diaphragm having one end disposed at the cylinder and the other end fixed to the outer tube part, and configured to roll in conjunction with displacement of the piston rod with respect to the cylinder. The rolling diaphragm becomes convex toward the other end-side of the outer tube part and is accommodated in the outer tube part, upon contraction of the suspension.

Abstract: A damper includes a cylinder, a piston, a piston rod, a rod-side fluid chamber, a piston-side fluid chamber, an annular fluid chamber, and a stopper mechanism. The cylinder includes an inner tube and an outer tube. The rod-side fluid chamber is defined by the piston in the inner tube on a lower end side. The piston-side fluid chamber is defined by the piston in the inner tube on an upper end side. The annular fluid chamber is between the inner and outer tubes. At least one communication hole communicates the rod-side fluid chamber with the annular fluid chamber. A communication passage communicates the rod-side fluid chamber with the annular fluid chamber. A check valve in the communication passage allows fluid to flow from the annular fluid chamber to the rod-side fluid chamber and disallows the fluid to flow from the rod-side fluid chamber to the annular fluid chamber.
